I hardly even compare jetstar to tiger anymore, I know they are both "budget" but tiger is considerably worse. In NZ we had a jetstar flight cancelled due to weather and had to wait 2 hours for the next flight (in addition to being there early wait), so they gave both of us a $10 food voucher for the airport food court and a $50 jetstar voucher. They handled it very well, I have never flown tiger but something in me tells me they wouldn't do such a thing.
I have flown to japan and back, the gold coast and new zealand on jetstar and never had a problem with them. The leg room is pretty good (and i'm 6'2), and if you get lucky they often have cheap or free emergency exit rows.
Anyway, thats the end of my praise for jetstar. This sale looks pretty standard, I just wish they flew to canberra!
And here I thought Jetstar were encouraging people to smoke a joint before boarding.
