What are the selling points of this product compared to other solutions?

    • Umm its free ?

      • These are also free: http://lifehacker.com/5237503/five-best-free-data-recovery-t…

Edit: Data recovery isn't something that you want to play around with, I haven't needed to do much research into it but from what I hear from colleges they mainly use Linux solutions.

If you're trying to recover data from a failing drive you could potentially be damaging the drive even more just by spinning it up or reading from it.

    • I tried out the trial. Its very simple and easy to use, but that wasn't all that impressive as it didn't find anything on the drive I tried. Though it seems to recover files if you do it straight away after deleting. Doesn't hold a candle to r-studio, but i still give it a + as its free and better than nothing.

So this is just the trial version?

  • just a trial version. not worth a download

  • To get your free license you need to email [email protected] asking for a license code. Soon after sending the request you will receive your license. You need to download the software from Guests cannot see links. Registration or Login is required.
because the key code provided is just compatible with the software downloaded from CNET.

It'd be nice if the poster could include the link to the software.

  • Might give this a try, need to recover a HFS+ hdd from a MacBook with a fried motherboard. Hopefully can recover the folder structure, was going to look into read only HFS+ drivers for windows, but will see if I can get this.

  • Downloaded the software and emailed them for the activation code but no reply and no activation code?

Is this for real or not?
