  • Oh Cinavia, you've done it again!

The LG has it but I'm looking into the others…if anyone knows?

    • I'd say all the blu-ray players have Cinavia. It's a standard feature now in brand name blu-ray players.

      • Glad I got the old-model Sony S580 that was recently on ozb.
But how can I find out if the 0600 firmware update on Sony website has cinavia? have googled and asked in forums.

        • I suggest that if you aren't experiencing bugs then don't upgrade firmware for the sake of it.

        • It wouldn't be noted. They'd sneak it into the firmware update without any one noticing until they've already installed the firmware.

        • Well, some of the download pages for other Sony products, or overseas versions actually do state something like "this update features Cinavia" with a link to the website.

        • Isn't there an option to back out the firmware update if it causes issues? Or possibly you could reload an older firmware via usb?

        • No, unfortunately that's the problem :)

  • The website says $99, not $67.

EDIT: oh right the price changes when you add it to the cart. Totally not stupid.

    • The price changes to $67 when you actually go to the product page.
