    I'd say all the blu-ray players have Cinavia. It's a standard feature now in brand name blu-ray players.

      Glad I got the old-model Sony S580 that was recently on ozb.
      But how can I find out if the 0600 firmware update on Sony website has cinavia? have googled and asked in forums.

        I suggest that if you aren't experiencing bugs then don't upgrade firmware for the sake of it.

        It wouldn't be noted. They'd sneak it into the firmware update without any one noticing until they've already installed the firmware.

        Well, some of the download pages for other Sony products, or overseas versions actually do state something like "this update features Cinavia" with a link to the website.

        Isn't there an option to back out the firmware update if it causes issues? Or possibly you could reload an older firmware via usb?

  The website says $99, not $67.

  EDIT: oh right the price changes when you add it to the cart. Totally not stupid.
