Very cool lego set, this is not the cheapest it has been on Amazon however it does not usually ship to Australia. $140.23USD shipped so using 28degrees credit card it should cost about $150.51.

Its all part of Georges re-imaging … in the next re-re-release ultra special version Vader was going to be changed to 'good guy' all the way through…

  • Bought this last year from Amazon Germany, was really surprised how missing pieces there were, hence still haven't finished building it.

I'm surprised at your missing words in that sentence, hence why I still haven't finished reading it…

        That was really helpful, cheers

        • Usually it's because you got the colours mixed up, but Lego website has a missing parts request form.

Lego have very strict quality control, contact them and they should be able to help you.

If you let Lego know they will send you any missing pieces

      • what if you are missing all but a few pieces from a set?

        • +1

Doesn't happen, every single box that leaves the Lego factory is weighed and although there is a margin for error (and it does happen some boxes go out with some bricks or even a small pack of bricks missing) they just don't come from the factory without the majority of the bricks.
The only possible way that you could buy a box like that is if someone has stolen them.

        • It DOES happen! my snow speeder set was missing one of the critical L shape joints that allow bricks to be built on the vertical plane, thus I could not attach my thrusters properly.

I called Lego Australia up, and they asked for a description of the piece and said they would mail it to me!

        • I didn't say that they never ship anything without every brick I'm saying they don't ship near empty boxes missing most pieces. From kermuffle's description I assumed he/she was saying would you be able to get an almost complete new set by telling Lego that you were missing heaps of bricks.

        • Ah my bad - I read kermuffle's comment as all but missing a few instead of missing all but a few.

    • I got the Lego VW Combi and it had one very small piece missing. They replaced it quick smart.

  • On the fence with this one. Someone help me decide!!!!! argh!!!

    • Its a good set, I got it last year at Myers for $200, and was happy with that price, but $150 is great!

Good call. Millennium Falcon (AU Futura) was piece of junk!

  • Why does it have a clone on the box in the top right in the old uniform?
