Although it's not Aussie stock it's a really good price.

You can also get the 32GB 4G version for $799 + delivery http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/samsung-galaxy-note-iii-n9005-4g…

Thoughts on the Note 3? Competition?

Some people on whirlpool pricematching the Australian stock 32GB version for $800 at Jb hi fi. http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2151636&p…

32GB 4G $830 delivered (std. delivery with freight protection) - no thanks.

Better prices and value on Australia market model stocked locally, with two year warranty backed by SAMSUNG AU with guarantied use of genuine SAMSUNG parts and SAMSUNG approved repairers.

I wonder when the grey import price will drop to $600?

I wonder when the grey import price will drop to $600?

NO! Don't suggest that! I don't really want to buy, and go to the dark side. It is just that my 'Chinese Computer Mafia' friends seen to be all changing to the SAMSUNG S4, Note 2, and now Note 3. I look left behind with my iPhone 5.

Give it 4-6 weeks I reckon

      • Good, I am considering GN3, LG G2 and Lumia 1520 for my X'mas present, can't see myself paying anything more than $600 delivered for a phone.

    • +1

Probably 5 months if you follow the S3 and S4 price trends.

  • Any news on the 64GB model? Will it be available soon for us to buy?

    • +1

It has memory card slot, that can accept an extra 64GB memory card; with a total of 96GBs, what do you need more memory for?

Isn't there a region lock for this Phone?
So basically, the phone need to be activated using the Sim card from the same region.
For example, if the phone is a European version, you have to activate it using the European Sim card.
If this phone work out of the box, then Kogan must of open up the box and activate it, then put it back into the box.

    • +1

Only an activation region lock for the US and European version.

      • +2

Wow! That is some sheer douchbaggery from samsung.

  • Samsung sucks with their region locking & pricing, they are worse then Apple now imo

  • No offense but I just found that this shop (http://cameraparadise.com/Buy-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3-16GB-N90…) is selling the same model at a lower price. I do not know if they specialize in mobile phone (buying mobile phone from 'Camera' paradise?), however, they may be a better choice in terms of price.

no offense, but do you believe this kind of online store?

      Office Address

603 Yee Kuk Ind. Ctr., 555 Yee Kuk St.,
      Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon,
      Hong Kong.

Honestly I have not made any purchase from this store. However I did buy things worldwide, from USA, Europe, and even Hong Kong. Of course research about this store is needed if I truly have to make the purchase but an overseas address will not reduce my confidence. The beauty of internet is that it allows us to do shopping from everywhere easily.

    • No offense but I just found that this shop … is selling the same model at a lower price

      Order Subtotal: AU$ 743.75
      Shipping Fee: AU$ 30.59

      So, AU$775 for a 16GB 4G Note 3 delivered.

If there were a problem you have to pay to send it back to Hong Kong - very expensive.

  • I do, just spewing I wasn't there this week (was there two weeks ago), pretty out of the way place.
When I was in HK and looking at the 'proper' retail stores, both the Note 2 and Samsung Mega were selling for about $50.00 more than in Aus!
The note 3 release date was only released when I came back.
