Not as good as the previous Kogan deal I posted but since Kogan is being dodgy with the order I place (further delays in shipping which makes me feel as if they were really just advertising a pre-order) I decided to look elsewhere for the next best deal.

From Mobile Zap it's $187.50 plus postage which is as little as $4.50 (but more if you want insurance, etc.) which brings it to $192 delivered. Cheaper than Kogan and also cheaper than Mobicity which are both $199 plus shipping.

  I checked Kogan yesterday, it was $179 plus shipping. How much was it when you last posted it?

    I bought it for $149 plus shipping but now Kogan says it'll be another 5 days before they even ship it… I suspect it isn't available from them yet. The day after I bought it the price jumped up to $199. Looks like it's fluctuating a bit. Kogan shipping is expensive ~$25 with tracking so even at $179 plus shipping, the Mobile Zap deal is cheaper.

  Kreyos runs circles 'round this! Cheaper too! Hands down the best smartwatch available atm (besides Samsung Galaxy Gear which can do video calls).

    Not released until Jan 2014 (if it actually releases on time…)
    Also I think the build quality of the Sony is more premium. Based on the contenders actually available, the Sony doesn't do too bad for the price.

    I really hope there's some standardization with all these watches or it'll be a mess with different app stores, models that only work with some phones like the gear etc

      This one works with all Androids 4.0 and above. Gear will only work with Note 3 at launch, which will make it a total flop. They will add support for S3, S4, and Note 2 later I think. But it's still Samsung only phones, and not all of them at that.

      App store is the same app store as every other phone (Play), though obviously the watch won't support all the apps.
