My first post, please be kind.

I rarely see any discount for Crumpler bags in Adelaide, so this might be useful for those who are interested. The range is really limited, but could save you some money if any of the designs catches your eyes. (Sometimes I question their design intent & weird naming convention)

Example: Pinnacle of Horror $155 - Down to $124 with code (Aaaah, so scary)

    Works on sale items!

  • Can't get free shipping…

The free shipping only applies if purchase is over $50 (after all discounts)

You have to spend over $50

      • -2

Then that needs to be stated in the title, it's very misleading, implies free shipping is part of the coupon code

  • is it $50 per item or per order to get free shipping?

    • Per order - so overall, your order needs to total $62.50, in order for you to apply the coupon and get free shipping

  • Cheers! saved $18

Really like Crumpler bags - they look great and are aesthetically pleasing, however, have to admit that they don't seem to be as well thought out in terms of functionality as other bags I checked.

Just bought a Timbuk2 Messenger Backpack - it's built just as well, very comfortable and works so well - very convenient to use as they have a lot of pockets and compartments that are easy to reach.

    • as a fellow ozBargainer, I'd love to know where you got your Timbuk2 from! They look really good but hard to find in Aus.

I agree, I own 2 Crumpler bags, a Timbuk2 messenger, a Mission Workshop messenger; Timbuk2 has really good organisation features. You can find them on rushfaster.com.au (really good price with codes) or wait for Timbuk2 US website for clearance and share the shipping fee with a couple of mates! (the clearance price is really good)

  • To bad I can't use it with my $50 voucher from the coke rewards promo lol

I've got to say the Iconic seems to have been quickly overshadowed by surfstitch imo…

    • Agreed. The Iconic don't seem to have much selection of brands these days

  • Also a good chance to get some fragrances for cheaper with free shipping. E.g. L'eau D'Issey is $64.76 with free shipping:

I know Crumpler make quality bags and I am a fan of them, but how can they justify the cost?

    • They can't. Its wank-factor/prestige value.

Do you really feel any Nike/Adidas products are worth their price tag these days?

      • The cost is justified by the quality. I'd normally agree, most items are BS marketing. I've had the same Crumpler bag for 8~ years and apart from the front zip which has just become unstitched in the last few months, the bag is PERFECT.

I use it daily, use it all the time when riding to work. It's taken a caning and been washed, etc. Still looks new.

        • See rorymeister's link above, other companies make bags of equal or better quality (Timbuk2) for less and with similar colour and size options for $55-100 (Large/X-Large are usually $100)

Crumpler are just like MacPac and other brands, they start out priced competitively and worth the cost, but end up representing less and less value over time.

  • Thanks, got these boots for $65 delivered

  • BTW only works once

  • extra 25% off on Herschel bags today and some other brands
