haha! yeah, this reminds me of all those ebay sellers where the item is free or almost free but they have jacked up postage…

      • I am afraid the seller will ask you to return the holder before give you money back.

        • not that it should be a problem. I mean, it's not like the holder will be sticking too much to your hand to send it back!

  • when I put quantity of 4 - sent to Melb - 17.45 shipping
    quant of 5 - 20.94

Dont think it's a good deal at all… HK seller on ebay around same price and if you want multiple ebay definitely cheaper….

I have purchased two of them couple weeks ago. They really are crap. Great the first few times but then they don't hold anything. Tested with Nexus 4 and iPhone 5

Might be stating the obvious, but have you tried washing/rinsing it?

Not the most convenient, I recognise, if required… but just a thought.

      • washing/rinsing works, as does applying a light coating of super glue

        • I see… Also I just watched the video and realised that this is mentioned in the video. Derp =S

      • Rinsing mine at least once a month has made a big diff.. mine has worked over 6 months without failing once.
even works with my cases on my phones.

  • not really a deal

similar available on ebay from brisbane http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GripGo-Universal-Mobile-Phone-Mou…

cheaper from hongkong for $5.30 if your happy to wait.

yea took me a while to type it up and look for the links.. also you dont have to buy multiples for a cheaper price.

  • I don't know how they make money on just postage!!!! that means the product would costed the company less than a dollar!

    • Im sure they still make money the way they selling this item by saying it's free and you pay only postage is just a tricky way of selling item.

      • But they have to pay the postage as well, in Australia to send that item it would cost atleast $4-$5…..so they making only $1 or so!!!!!

        • yeh and what about those oversea sellers on ebay? they need to pay for international airmail shipping fee plus ebay fee + deduction from paypal fee… LOL and yet ebay seller still offer at cheaper price.

  • real clingo/grip go cost around 20 bucks

i usually just stick half of my phone onto the pad coz its damn too sticky.

I put my phone in the cup holder :) (I have the best cup holders in the world btw)

  • I got something (different model) off ebay for $2.40 posted. Barely used it, but the suction and jaws on it seem sturdy. It was the same as this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251325259196

The one in your photo is also cheaper on ebay ($5.69) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-GripGo-Universal-Mobile-P…

  • Rhodes dollar store $8, had it for a month now, works ok.

  • I'm pretty sure I've seen that's in cheap as chips catalogue for $5-7

  • DON'T buy this shit.

I couldn't stick it on the car after the second attempt. Absolute rubbish. Don't fall for it.

  • I have had an original GripGO for over 6 months now, use it repeatedly every day… has never failed ever!
They are a great idea.. and work well.. just give them a rise at least once a month to get the dirt off and return the sticky to them.

I highly recommend this if its a similar quality as the GripGO

  • I have a question about these phone holders - do they stick to dashboard surfaces as well as windscreens? Anyone tried this?
