  • Price matched this at OfficeWorks and got it for $141 the other day

    • can we take it out as desktop or laptop disk?

      • doubt it.. most 2.5" portable drives have the USB built into the drive now to save space and also to stop you from pulling the drive and using it for laptop or desktop. the 3.5" external drive cases are another story, they should all be removabe to stick into a desktop. I bought 2x 3TB WDs from Scorptech last weekend for $99 each, so they would go into my NAS.

      • Not a Sata drive. If you have internal USB port you can use for that

    • Cant anymore
I just checked they have changed their price to $149

    • ERROR - I got the My Passport not the Elements…

  • are the hard disk inside element and passport the same? minus the softwares…

    • -1

that's cool you answered your own question

      • No, i want to know if the hardware used is the same.

        • Same hard drives put in different casings. Only differences between the two are the included software and casing. I believe the Passport has a more stronger and stylish case (last gen versions were at least).

  • both my local JB and OW are OOS of this… the passport version is 167 @ OW

    • your local JB and OW are Occupational Overuse Syndrome (OOS)?

      • or Out Of Stock… which ever you prefer!

  • Which version is better, passport or elements?
