50

Jaycar have currently got this camera on special (usually $99). This is the cheapest I could find from a bricks and mortar store. You will also have to purchase a Class 10 MicroSD card separately (refer to note below).

Note: The high performance of this camera requires the use of a class 10 MicroSD. Use of a class 4 MicroSD card will not guarantee best performance. Using a class 4 MicroSD card will result in error messages from the camera requesting you to format the MircoSD card, this is because class 4 MicroSD cards are not suitable for this camera. When using a class 10 MicroSD card this fault will not be displayed, and will work normally in the camera.

Seems good for a brick and mortar store. The youtube clips aren't bad.

  • If it is only 6GB/hr, (<2MB/s) why do you need a class-10 card? Sounds a bit dodgy, but hey, $49.

Because of the "high performance" of this camera, it doesn't accept anything else apparently… I just updated the description with the note at the bottom (From the Jaycar website)

  • Be weary of this camera, I bought the exact same one (not from JayCar), and it lasted a whole week before the lens became dislodged/melted/whatever whilst in my vehicle. It's not a very good camera, I would not purchase one again (got a refund).

i received this camera as a gift a while back and used it quite alot.I got to say it's been pretty good to me. I've taken it jet boating, swimmming & overseas with me and havent had any problems.

I've chucked a "crappy" class 4 SD card in it and it works fine as well.
