    • i ordered 2 under different accounts, first one came yesterday but i got a backorder email about the 2nd one shortly after ordering and not heard anything since.

      i assume/hope they are waiting for more stock, but being Hardly Normal who knows what dodgy crap they are up to to counter us professionals

      • as expected those douchebags never call ppl back so I made another call again. Well well guess what… they dont have it in stock. Said theres a handful of ppl on back order and will contact us again once they have it in stock…

        • fwiw i just got an email with the tax invoice for my 2nd one, that should mean its been shipped and on its way to me :)

          as for a "handful of backorders" they must have big hands…. heh

        • Got a phone call this late evening and received a confirmation email that my HDD was shipped out.
          Was told they ran out of the old 500gb model and they've sent out new model to me without extra charges. Fingers crossed that im getting this one.

        • oh i got the 2tb's. first one was certainly the old one, hope they sent a new sort for my 2nd one.

          dosnt matter much to me tho, the one i got the other day was tested and out of the case within about 10 mins of the delivery dude leaving :)

    I'm pissed. It should not take this long to notify me that there is no stock and its more frustrating that this is a gift. Not only that, but I have to contact the online store to cancel my order and not them, the ones with no stock.

    Last time I deal with these pricks.
