Got a phone call this late evening and received a confirmation email that my HDD was shipped out.
Was told they ran out of the old 500gb model and they've sent out new model to me without extra charges. Fingers crossed that im getting this one.

I'm pissed. It should not take this long to notify me that there is no stock and its more frustrating that this is a gift. Not only that, but I have to contact the online store to cancel my order and not them, the ones with no stock.

i ordered 2 under different accounts, first one came yesterday but i got a backorder email about the 2nd one shortly after ordering and not heard anything since.
i assume/hope they are waiting for more stock, but being Hardly Normal who knows what dodgy crap they are up to to counter us professionals
