  • It's a good deal. Try also: Netflix. It gives one month free and a lot more options to watch online.

Any there any 'new' uses left in Australia who haven't tried the free Quickflix trial at some stage or the other ?

    • You can use a different name/email to the same address, it works…

This one provides an 8 week trial. Are there any differences between this deal and that one? The 8 week trial has a 2 at a time limit. Can't see anything about this one.

    • this one looks like it's only one at a time?

    • from what i can tell

      only the 12.99 joining fee

8 week - no amex required
After your two-month free trial ends, you will be charged $29.99 per month for the Post & Play Unlimited package, plus a one-off Joining Fee of $12.99.

  • Quickflix feels outdated to me.

I've used them before, and I found that I was too lazy to have to go and post them back every day because there was no nearby post box. At a B&M store you can get 5-10 at a time and return them all a week later all at once.

This you get 1 or 2 at a time and have to change them over daily to maximise value.

Most convenient model would be streaming.

And sometimes they would post me vol 5 and vol 6 today, but I would receive vol 6 tomorrow but vol 5 doesn't get here till the day after. I'm stuck with something I can't watch and have to hold onto, so I can't request the next one in the meantime, and I've lost some value. Delays in the post also cost you some value.

    • Most convenient model would be streaming.

Confused doesn't the OP state "Plus unlimited streaming of selected titles to your computer and other smart devices"

      • I see. Never mind this then, if that's included in the package. Though I am kind of surprised it would be. It would essentially mean you could have 10 movies a day at no extra charge if you had the time.

That would be the only service I use. Wouldn't even request the DVDs.

  • $29.99/mth! eeeek

  • So if I cancel a day before 6 weeks is up, I won't be charged anything?

    • that is the idea

i think you may be better signing up for the 8 week trial as mentioned by Neil if thats what you intend to do

      • Thanks
