EVGA GTX 780 from $639 @ PCCG

10

Looks like the price of top end nVidia cards are coming down after the release of the new ATI range.

EVGA 'Superclocked' version @ $649 is a bargain.

I still think $639 is still too expensive considering that now it retails for $499 (AUD 525.32) in the US. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/121190 was the best deal.

    • I would pay the extra for piece of mind, and to keep my money in Australia. Twice I've bought computer tech (SSD & Graphic Card) from outside of Oz, and twice I've lived to regret the situation. I got them because they weren't available in Australia but now I simply wait.

Though that was a couple of years ago, unless things became easier to claim vs freight damage or warranty ……. never again.

    • yeah, the price in the US dropped by $150, the price here dropped by $70. Raped as usual!

price would drop soon as US already dropped their prices down to $499, which is $150 less, because GtX 780 Ti launches

    • would you be able to sli a 780 with a 780i

      i bought a 780 for $600

      • would be but I would recommend you to sell the 780 to get two Rx 290 or two GTX 780 Ti ;) or at least one RX 290 (which can easily outbeat 780 with high-res settings)

        • wut…i tought rx290 was the top of the range card. wouldnt it cost the same or more than the 780…how can i afford 2x by selling 1 780

Also isnt 780ti better, so again wouldnt it cost more??
