  • Damn if only there was cashback on the A3 printer that's on sale :(

    • I've owned both the Brother MFCJ6510DW ($199) and the Epson WF-7510 ($139 at the time).

The Epson is streaks ahead of the brother and is A3+ which is surprisingly useful. For $140 it was a no-brainer… If you are in the market for an A3 multifuction keep your eye out for another special (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/110915)

      • I am after brother printers because the ink tank is not attached to the printer head. Thus, using CISS (http://www.rihac.com.au/offers/?gclid=CIDe2eW847oCFYcRpAodKV…) is more durable compare to CANON printers.

I have MFC 530 CANON printer with the above CISS since 2007. It was good until the constant moving of the head and ink tube cause some leak.

Are Epson printers attach their ink on the printer head or in a different compartment ?

        • I found the MFCJ6510DW CISS from Aus-MIR to be pretty easy to setup.

The Epson was a bit more convoluted so I went for the refillable cartridges instead. To be honest I prefer refillable over CISS nowadays. I only print maybe 5 full colour A3+ photos a week so a CISS is not really needed for me.

Power users I could understand though

        • My sons print Pokemon, stories almost everyday. CISS ink is cheap enough, getting recycle used paper is more of a task.

    • Which one? The MFC-J4410DW can do single sheet A3. $199, less a $50 cash back. No extra ink purchase required.

      • ooooo…. Anyone have any experience on this and think it's a good price?

  • Thanks. My mum is after a MFC.

Edit: Oh, you have to buy a set of ink too for the cash back on the $99 model. At $76, it's not that attractive a deal anymore.

  • PRICE IN TITLE

    • +2

There are multiple items, which one should we put on the title ?

      • +1

Why don't you put the Dicksmith one for $79 and then tell us that it is at The Good Guys for only $49. Makes sense to me. Not.
