    Misleading. Reported.

Yup. "$239" is misleading, because a $40/$50 Coles gift card can't be directly equated with cash. Title should state the actual price is $289.

IPTV is NOT "all illegal in Australia", even TPG offers it:
        http://www.tpg.com.au/products_services/adsl2-standalone#fre…

However, THIS offer appears to offer easy access to IPTV streams of dubious legality. That's what you should be criticising, not IPTV itself.

IPTV is like bittorrent: it can be used for both legal and illegal purposes. Legal: watching BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera for example. And if you want to watch those IPTV streams, you should be able to buy hardware to do that much more cheaply than this offer, I think even a Raspberry Pi can do that.

        • You just mentioned a bunch of countries and not one of them is Australia.

We are in Australia.. only Australian laws apply.

These are no more illegal than WDTV which office works sell.

he mentioned only one, the united states

          Hong Kong

        • Sir, Hong Kong has never, ever, been its own country. It was loaned to the British for 99 years by the Chinese, and subsequently returned in 1997 where it is now a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Much the same as with Macau.

However, they do have a somewhat independent legal system, which could (but I really doubt) what you're referring to…

For all intents and purposes Hong Kong is its own country. For legal purposes they are certainly a separate country.. Hong Kong is capitalism and China is pseudo communism but anyway that's beside the point. The dude claiming other people look like a dick is copying and pasting translated articles which refer to laws of other jurisdictions.

      • hahaha using VCRs to record TV programmes back in the 1980s was illegal too. Going to report that to the police too? lol

        • using a VCR to record a broadcast is legal, here.

It is not illegal to buy or sell a knife, but it is illegal to use it to kill someone.

    • Price updated and also

not even a deal. unsure why OzB even allow these illegal boxes to be sold on here.

not only that but OP is intentionally misleading the OzB crew,

"Receive a $40 Coles card for every unit purchase ($50 per unit when purchasing 2 units "

plus the picture quality of the streams seem like they were filmed with a potato

    • I had tvb Australia subscriptions, the quality was worse than my torrents and i paid so much tooo…whats you point

TVpad3 - Starts at $199 from aliexpress here

    • -7

Man U gotta be careful, take a close look at the US $199 one, it is called TVPAD3 but actually it's not the real TVPAD,
The lowest price for a genuine tvpad3 is US $251.8 if u purchase 5 set, and this deal is only $240 -$250 and other sellers selling at $289, with Australian warranty, Australian power adapter.
