      • +2

        In Melbourrne, they're usually cold.

      • yes cold

    • +1

      Facepalm.

      Although $1 ain't much of a deal.

  • +1

the shop next door has 2 for $1.50

  • +1

Since when has a $1 drink been OzBargain worthy, we want 90% off deals!

  • How is this a deal ? most suburbs have can soft drinks for a dollar e.g. Regents Park

  • Most IGAs have $1 cold drinks near their register inc Coke.

  • +2

I'm going to neg this as it's not a real deal. Sure a can of Coke can get expensive, but most suburbs have at least one store that sells cold cans of Coke for $1 at any time of day. Looks like spam.

  • +3

Post doesn't even specify the type of drink. Could be a glass of water for all we know. No deal.

    • Title quickly edited. Nice work.

      • I did that. :)

  • This is a coffee and sandwich cafe, you can get that price for dine inn and yes it is cold

    • +1

$1 is still not too special. Why not make the drinks 50 cents each? You won't lose much money on them and will probably sell a few extra cakes and sandwiches. I don't think $1 is a good enough price to make people go out of their way to visit your store it's just a nice bonus for anyone already planning on going there and buying a drink.

    • +1

You haven't mentioned which drinks are $1

  • -1

Drinks such as pepsi, santa, solo, also can get cold bottle of water.
Joined yesterday and this is not a spam.

      lol

      • cold drinks for dine in, yes

and this is not a spam

      ummmm … okay.

    • $5 for a can of coke? Absolute, complete, utter tripe.

You are fabricating prices of your competitors to make your price look good when as per above it's been shown above to be cheaper elsewhere.

Neg for no bargain and shameful and lying rep just spamming his business.

    • I find that very hard to believe especially in Bankstown

  • +1

not the cheapest, my local RitePrice has them for 50 cents almost all the time

    • cold?

      • +1

most of us here own a fridge…

        • What if you wanted it straight away?

        • +1

So if im out and about and want a cold drink, I have to carry a fridge with me to save 50c?

    • +1

Great try but you have to remember that your audience on this forum is as tight as the proverbial. Good luck with your business though - sure you'll do well :)

      • +1

        sure you'll do well :)

They will if they bought the drinks from the 50c deal earlier…

    • Your welcome. Thanks for replying to everyone !

  • Guys I think $1 seems fair. A can of soft drink at 7 eleven is at least $2

    • +1

It is fair, and it is a decent price. But it's not a bargain!

  • What type of cans? The normal 375ml or the skinny ones

    • Good question - I feel ripped off even paying $1 for the skinny ones!

    • the normal 375

  • and it's only pepsi
