Extended warranty for 5 years $0.30

    Thanks OP.
    My first Kogan purchase

If you get the warranty and the pen runs out of ink in 5 years would they replace it? :D

    Black available here: http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/stylus-pen-capacitive-touchscree…

This looks almost identical to one I bought from Asia (whilst in Asia).
If it is the same ballpoint pen, this is well worth the < $0.67 ea.

Hahaha… I know Kogan is not officially a part of CF (they are doing their own Kogan Frenzy !), but this has been the best Frenzy deal so far !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just looked at a two cinemas…

      Skyline Drive-in:
      RRP: $10 PP
      Kogan: $19.00 + $2.50 Booking

      Beverly Hills Cinema
RRP: $17 PP ($11 PP on Tuesday)
      Kogan: $19.00 + $2.50 Booking

Depending on where you go, it's possible to save money, but doesn't really look like 2 for 1.

    Great bargain, thanks.

  • I'm guessing these wont work with an IPS screen? nvm..stupid question

They can always be used for removing ear wax…

    Bought! Stocking stuffers for sure!
I wonder how they will treat the 5 year warranty - free ink refills??

  • Thanks and ordered one set.

  • Thanks picked up 2 sets.

  • Bought one, great post OP, thanks.

  • I bought 1 for $4 recently, it is pretty good. The cap tends to unscrew on its own a lot though.

I stopped using my $1 Kogan stylus pen after the rubber tip fell off (5 seconds after opening)
Went back to using my finger, which thankfully hasn't fallen off.

Thanks, got two (black and white). Bought them mainly for the movie pass :-).

  • Thanks OP!

Steve Jobs would be turning in his grave right now if he knew we were all secretly using Styluses to control our iPhones(good thing I have a HTC lol).

Unless you are doing some precision task such as virtual painting or sketching I don't think I would use this. The only benefit I can see is in winter if you are wearing thick gloves and don't want to remove them to use your phone.

    • Good luck trying to sketch / draw with a rubber cap that is on this thing.. :)

    • LOL, I've got gloves that can be used on a touch screen, like the stylus, can't drawer with them either :)

  • Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP, great timing.

Hate to spoil the fun.. Anyone thinking this stylus will effectively make a Fruit Machine into a "Note" is mistaking since it is a rubber cap based low end stylus. You really cannot write with it since the rubber end tends to stick to the screen (almost like using a traditional rubber/eraser to try and scribble) and as said above, the quality is very poor. It is cheap (theres many on ebay going for around similar prices though), so therefore dont hold any high expectations of it. The only real reason for it is for people with "Fat finger" syndrome that needs more precision on very fine resolution/DPI's.

Doesn't say anything about colouring in, drawing, or writing heiroglyphics in cursive while dancing to 13th Century funeral marches either.

I thought half of us were doing it for the movie tickets..

  • WOO HOO, Got mine before they put the price back up :)

    • +1

$4 per piece is ridiculous. I'm surprised anyone would buy these at rrp.

  • got mine today

    • How it's it?

    • Has your rubber tip fallen off yet?

      • I got mine today too and they seem fine. A little short for a ball point pen, but that's not really what I bought them for. My iPad is still on the way, but I enjoyed using it with my iPhone; works well.

  • Still haven't got mine :/

  • Anyone get the Kogan movie ticket code? It's been almost 2 weeks.

    • +1

I haven't got the code OR my stylus pens. I just sent Kogan a message demanding to know where my stylus pens are. If I don't hear back from then in 2-3 days, I'm going to file a dispute claim with paypal. It might be only $2, but it's better in my pocket than in theirs. If other's don't get their pens, I urge them to do the same.

  • I dont have a code yet??

    • Yep, more than 14 days have past and no code has arrived. I also noticed that my other two styli don't have great tips. They still work, but the tip isn't secured as well as the first one; as in the edges are kind of folders over eachother. Hard to explain.

  • Dispute claim with paypal lodged. Kogan hasn't sent the stylus pens, nor the code. I'm over it.
