Incredible prices…
Possible price match at OW as well for 520 only.
and I know a lot of ozbargainers have the lumia 520, everytime I see someone using 520 on the street I really feel like to say hello, lol.
Windows Phone prices dropped so fast and I think this is a very good deal, especially 1020 and 925.
if you are going overseas for Christmas then you should also be eligible for TRS for 1020.
Good ideas for Christmas gifts? or the price will become even lower? maybe…

Enjoy shopping!

EDIT: Bonus $20 Windows Phone Store voucher for Lumia 925 and 1020: http://www.nokia.com/au-en/apps20/

  • Lumia 1020 cheaper at Dick Smith for today only - $568 plus shipping.

    • free delivery, and they seem to have the whole lumia range on sale too

  • Damn!

  • Lumia 520 starts at $129 on Ebay. Dont see this being any significant saving over existing prices

      • Duplicate post. Deleted.

      • The one on DS is locked to Telstra, while the one on HN are unlocked.

Not true, it's branded but not locked! I have already purchased one for a family member overseas and works perfectly

        • They sell two versions of 520. One is locked and the other is unlocked.

  • The 625 is $248 at DSE ;)

I really fancy a 925. Only $31 more than the HN price for a 625 and a way better phone. Great camera and screen, LTE. Interesting, it does not seem to be stocked by DSE. Looks like Nokia is running out of stock.

Daam bought the 1020 just a few days ago, maybe should have waited.

Just made a claim with 28 Degrees for the 925. Bought one earlier this month and it is $120 difference.

Will wait for the 1020 to drop more before making a claim on that one :D

    • so even if the price is droped for a day, the difference can still be claimed?

      • I called up to ask them this and they said it is ok to claim.

I checked the PDS before making the claim and took a screen shot of the deals page also :)

        • awesome! hope the rumour of having the monthly fee from next year is not ture

Wow. The Lumia 925 is an absolute steal at that price. Although I have an HTC One but still miss my Lumia 920 which I had to sell because of the lack of Maps and Youtube :(

    • +3

I like the feel of the 925 compared to the 1020 with the mix of metal and plastic used but needed the camera of the 1020 so use it as main phone.

What do you mean lack of maps and youtube?

I thought the Nokia Maps and navigation services is one of the best on mobile and for youtube I use Metrotube which is free.

Yes true Nokia Maps are good and are useable. But just missed Google Maps from my last Android Phone. Youtube is still a problem but if you are happy with the third party Apps, you would love the Windows Phone.

This looks like a fire sale.

Just bought the 925 from HN this morning. Use the $5 welcome trick and click and collect to score it for $324. Amazing pricing especially considering it is AU stock and unlocked/unbranded.

    • link to the $5 welcome code?

      • it's unique, you get one when you sign up for a new account.

      • Step 1) you need to setup a new account with Harvey Norman. If you have signed up with your email address already you can use any temporary email service; then

Step 2) you need to subscribe with the above email address to the Harvey Norman newsletter http://www.harveynorman.com.au/email-signup

Step 3) check your email and voila! you will have the promo code. The code will look like "welcome5xxxxxxxx"

I have used this method often (with temporary email address) and it works a treat. I even use the code through my normal account with Harvey Norman so I can track all my orders in the one spot.

Wondering if i should give up my Nexus4 for the Lumia 925..
Never used hotmail. All my accounts are linked to google dont want to change over to hotmail to use a windows phone.

    • spec wise nexus4 is better overall, except ram and storage…
but we all know the differences between android and wp

      • Yeah android is junk and spyware, stay away from it.

Just bought one for mum, hope she likes it!

I have a htc 8x from mobileciti in april this year, about $300.
was struggling between 920 and 8x, eventually bought 8x because its cheaper.
htc has lack of apps and lack of updates.
    think windows phone, think nokia!

  • Prices back up again. Lumia 925 now $529. The pricing for these is all over the place.

    • Does Harvey have a history of matching old deal prices? Was just about to walk down and grab one.

      • You are asking if HN will price match its own pricing?

        • Yes. Given the price has now gone back up, would they honour the old price?

        • Common sense tells you "no". However, there's no harm in asking.

Thanks to mrgeckoz i was able to pick up a 925 for $329 on Saturday.
Now all I need is a wireless charging shell and plate …

  • Can anyone confirm the 925 is in fact unlocked? The box I have here says Optus, but I have a Telstra sim card (which isn't the right size so I'm getting that sorted soon).

    • My 925 is unlocked, not sure about yours. I got this deal.

The lumia os is so beautiful and captivating. Makes the Android feel dated. It of course needs some kink fixing, which 8.1 will deliver next year.

      Great purchase me thinks.

  • I don't check this thing and the lumia goes on sale? Grrr
