Just found out very good deal for Sony 55" Passive 3D, Smart TV at DSE.
I believe this is the pretty good deal from local Brick and motor store.

Including 4x 3D glasses, 100 Hz and Motionflow XR 400.
Deal will expired today, so be quick.

This morning I checked at HN site and they listed as $1698, now I rechecked and they(HN) drop the price to $1496+Delivery. http://www.harveynorman.com.au/tv-home-theatre/tvs/tvs/sony-…

If you are member of Costco, you can get it at $1399 but (hassle to take back home)

    Even if you want to buy at a Brick and MOTOR store, Goodguys have it for $1499. I'm sure you can get them down a bit more if you ask nicely.

      Probably not. They just see a price online and immediately assume it's the cheapest there is just because it's on a sale.

        Nope, wasn't after a 3D as I have two. Its the same panel as the 60R550. Apparently very nice clear screens but a bit slow in the smart menus (I can live with that)
