Homelite Electric Hedge Trimmer HHT550 450W $30 @ Bunnings

100

I don't have a hedge but if one does appear in my yard or a cheap hedge comes up on OzBargain, I am well prepared.

From memory the sticker said was $69 was $49 was now $30 or something. Can post receipt if needed, other homelite garden tools on special have been nationwide. Plenty at Bunnings Belmont, they also still have lots of the $69 2 stroke line trimmers previously posted.

Perhaps someone with a choice membership can give us the jist of what they say about it here:

Comes with a 2 year warranty so at $15 a year hedge or no hedge how could anyone pass this up?

I can't see anything about this on the website. Can you please post a pic of the price tag or receipt?

  • These things are absolute rubbish, got one off a friend who didn't need it any more (after 1 use), it just kind of chews the branches and leaves instead of cutting. Waste of $30…

Might as well buy a goat then…

My local bunnings had no goats left in stock.

          Try Maaaa-sters….

        • That would be closer to a sheep not a goat

No, sheep are sold at Baaaa-nnings

    • Good to know, I'll give it a go and take it back if its useless. I won't expect miracles but Ill be happy if it can clean up a grevillea.

  • In choice this came 7th out of 11. The bottom 3 were battery operated, so it was really 7th out of 8 for corded models. But score it got was still OK.

  • Anyone confirm it is Australia wide?
