      If theyre like the Brainwavz M4, then the mic and button will work, although not exceptionally well with Android. You can play, pause, answer, hang up, that sort of thing.

      Looking through the specs of the Nexus 5, i believe the microphone will work and some of the remote functions will work to, the later issue is more to do with the Android OS software than hardware of the phone.

    Very happy with the sound, build quality can be better, in few months already got 2 times replacement, due to rattle, on the left speaker.

      I am sorry that you had those issues. With the 2013 edition the changes made to the internal structure allow the housing to hold together better, less chance it will split or any sort of rattling.

    I had a set, they broke, maybe i was unlucky as i heard good reviews, but i never bothered to contact them for a replacement, as i usually find its always too much trouble.

        My set of m4's broke within the first 2 weeks, but I didn't bother to ask for a replacement because I thought it would be a really painful experience, would it be possible for then to still be replaced? Or have I missed the boat?

      The Deltas are our Brainwavz golden child at the moment. I wouldn't say they are better as the Beta and Delta are different in many aspects.

      The sound on the Deltas is very balanced, leaning towards flat, however not a analytical monster. The Betas have a bit more bass, slightly recessed mids and good highs.

      The Beta housing is plastic, the Deltas is metal. The Delta is designed to be worn straight down, the Betas can be worn straight down or over the ear.

      Accessories, the Betas have a few more tips and a shirt clip, but both come with Comply tips.

      Yup. One has mic & remote, the other does not, apart from that they are the same in all respects.

      All the current Brainwavz earphone models are in ear, so they will basically block most outside noise out.

    Does anyone know how good the mic quality is?

    I have a Meelectronics M9P, the mic is not so good, so sometimes the person on the other end can't hear my voice properly.

      The microphone and single button remote on the Beta is pretty much the standard single button mics you find at this price range. I can't compare to the M9P as i have never used them.

        The OZ code is a flat $1.50 discount. The other is a 5% discount. So yes better off with the OZ code if you are just getting the one. If you go with three, then the OZ code is better by about $0.02. Once you go over $30 (and I upgraded to the Delta so was US$39.50) then you are better off with the fb discount.

      Depends on your budget, i personally like the S1 for movies, on a bit more of a budget then the Deltas or SoundMagic E10 would be good too.

          The amp helps to drive them better, but not necessary, however the E11 is a niffty gadget to have.
