Logitech G400s [DSE] $29 Thursday Only

131

Currently 48.99 but according to http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/124390, there is 40% off all Logitech G series products tomorrow and the mouse seems to be the pick of the bunch for value. Also would recommend the Logitech g602 for $60 if you need wireless. Part of Family n Friends sale as shown in the link, so you must print the flyer and present it when purchasing.

For all these people which missed out on the deathadder from MobileCiti, check out this mouse, I'm currently using a g400 from ozbargain(the previous gen) and it is excellent. I would consider in the same "tier" level as the DA.

Also checked stock, via online and phone, and their are plenty in WA… so hopefully no stock issues.

    lol at DS's item description.

  • Isn't that mouse just a generic mouse that basically all manufacturers get and slap their logo on? Eg. the mouse that the Asus G1 comes with.

The mx518 was one of the greatest mouses of modern gaming history. This mouse is essentially the son of the mx518. [Reviews here] (http://www.techspot.com/products/mice/logitech-g400s-optical…). Only negative is the cable can sometimes wear down and stop responding, just make sure you keep your warranty, logitech will send a new one without hesitation.

      • I still use the mx518 but mainly for Diablo 3 though. Would you say it's worth upgrading?

        • +1

Personally I would say no if the mx518 is still alive and kicking. But if the mouse feet are a bit worn and its slowly degrading this is a good pick up. If you buy this mouse try and get as much use out of it in 2 years as they have a tendency of cable wear, and you will get a refund if this ends up happening.

11 years later I'm still using my MX500 as my daily driver at work, and it's never missed a beat. Best product line of mice I've ever used.

      • I concur. Although I have long since moved on from the MX518 it will forever hold a special place in my memory.

      • I have 2 MX518s (one for work and one at home) and they're brilliant. Only wish I held onto my original Microsoft Trackball Explorer….

    • No. This shell has only ever been used with logitech.

Isn't this part of the family and friends sale? Maybe mention that you need to print the flyer and present it to claim this deal.

    • It's a dupe and the O.P. put the link to the deal he duped in his post.

      • +2

Mods feel free to remove this if it's a dupe, the deals on the flyer are a bit scattered and I posted this for the disappointed people which missed out on MobileCiti's Deathadder mouse deal.

Pricing is $34.99 in the search but comes up as $48.99 in cart?

"THAT'S $34.99 OFF! Online Exclusive Offer Offer ends today!"
    http://search.dicksmith.com.au/search#?w=G400s

Edit: They may have posted it too early. It'll probably come up as $34.99 tomorrow.

  • thanks for the post!

any idea if this is an online/in store only type deal?

  • G230 headsets on sale?

  • Staticice is showing this mouse available for $39 bucks elsewhere, so still a deal, just not as huge a bargain as they want you to believe.

"40% off all logitech g series gaming gear"
Take that for what you will…

example : DSE has g600 mouse at $99 bucks right now, which with the 40% off would seem like a great price reduction… if staticice wasn't showing everyone else selling them for around $50 right now and for a few months now…

Same story with the g700s gaming mouse… right now DSE has them at $149 bucks, a lot of other places are selling them for $80.

Check the prices against current prices elsewhere tonight if you intend on going to DSE to get a "bargain" tomorrow, there may be some legitimate 40% off prices there, the few i checked were not…

    • I got my g700s from DSE a few weeks back for around $70, guess it must've been 50% off.

  • +1

Dang it! I just got mine off DSE a few days back for $48.99

  • cannot remember how many years my mx500 still kicking. but thinking about g602s for wireless seriously now.

doubt can find any store have stock tomorrow though

Went down to local DS Store this morning. Shelf price was $69.98 with discount it came down to $41.98. Deal is Not as good as it first looked.

  • Same, just went to DSE George st the price shown $69.98. Its still not worth.

  • This is stupid. DS increase the shelf price instore for promotion product.

    • No, they said this price had been set for a long time.

    • Didn't notice they did this thought op did their maths wrong sorry I doubted you op.

  • Sorry, have to neg. No one has been able to get for $29.

  • Yes this a fail, DSE changed price in the morning, even though the 48.99 was not an online only, or sale price.
