I need to get some sort of Wii or ps3 sky landers pack for Xmas. This is almost as cheap as the sky landers giants pack for $49 at target and JB.
Might go have a look.
Skylanders Giants is $25 at Kmart for the Starter Packs including the portal.
- finding giants (everyone has crusher, swarm or bouncer, but others nope) now is a PITA, least you will be able to just collect current series characters which should be in supply for a while
I have a metric crap-tonne of giants from when DSE had them in the clearance bin for around $1 each. But the youngest son was too young to know they were anything more than just figures. Now he knows about the game side of it, I need to throw down this Xmas.
Is the giants game any good? Or should I just get the swap force one instead?
According to Good Game SP - this one is the only one worth playing. They said third time's a charm.
Though the kids have both the previous ones and love them all.

yeah if you can find a store with stock thats awesome, no one even remotely close to me has any ended up buying thump back, eye brawl from ozgameshop and ninjini from ebay :(
Is giants any good? Not sure, my oldest plays Skylanders spyro's adventures and he really likes it, he will getting giants for xmas so have collected all the giants and he can just reuse his characters from the first game + will pick up whatever compatiable swap force characters i can later on (they say there not backwards compatiable but they are, as long as they where in the game there later variant will still work, ie warnado from swap force DOES work on Giants and Spyros Adventures)

You made me buy both… swap force $54 @target, and giants $25 Kmart. Kids will be pleased with Santa this year.Yes i have all 3 now. Wasnt getting swapforce til it was marked down. That price is good enough. Now to start getting the figures
PS3 version showing as unavailable in the online store, but still plenty available in Melbourne CBD store at lunch time.
