Harman Kardon Soundsticks 3 Speakers - $124.99 @ Costco Docklands (VIC)

410

Hi guys,

Went to Costco today to get some TP and, lo and behold, they had some HK Soundsticks in stock. If anyone remembers, these were selling for the same price at Costco Auburn (NSW) a couple of months back, but unfortunately Victorians missed out on this deal at that time. For anyone still interested in these check out Costco Docklands. At about 3pm today there were about 12 boxes in stock, on the left near the entrance, just before you get to the TV section.

Disclaimer: I am 95% confident the price was $124.99. It was definitely $120-something so it's +/- $5 in the worst case scenario. I was there with my little toddler so had to walk past the speakers and go to the toys section. It would be good if someone can corroborate the price.

I've also re-used the URL link from the previous Costco Auburn deal as I didn't get a chance to take a picture. Hope this is ok.

EDIT: I'll pop by Costco during the day tomorrow to check stock levels and take a pic.

Cheers

just ask someone going in to get them for you…

hi, try this guy. http://www.fairdinks.com.au/ He gets product from Costco and delivers to you. Can't see the speakers on his site but reckon he'd be able to sort it out. Bought something from him last week. Service was fantastic.

      • shill?

        • no, not a shill. just a customer who has actually used the service - bought a dolls house for my daughters xmas present.

      • Haven't had a thorough look through this guy's website yet but I'm curious how he makes this viable. I'm assuming that he adds a margin on top? If so, is it typically a flat percentage or does it vary from item to item? I don't have Costco membership so have no idea what their original prices are but at the very least his site would serve as a great way to see what products Costco offers.

        • hi, yep had the same thoughts re where/what the margin is. I'm not a Costco member either. Price we paid for the dolls house incl delivery was cheaper than anywhere else we found in though so was happy with that. Probably more a reflection on how sharp the Costco prices are, but they don't deliver and this guy does.

        • Some of it seems to be only a few dollars more (Dr. Pepper for $24.99, I think it's normally only $21-$24 but I could be wrong) but there is surely some stuff that has been marked up a bit more and perhaps he gets a good deal with shipping if it's always a flat rate… it does seem like it wouldn't be worth the time from a quick look at it.

  • Can someone post the receipt then we can ask JB HiFi to price beat?

  • But will they say this is contract pricing and not price beat?

  • +5

+1 for using the word corroborate, had to google to see what it meant.

  • excellent price, I paid 180 at JB and that was cheap!

  • first i thought 3 speaker for $124.99 wow thats cheap

  • I was the poster of the original deal, and yeah go ahead and use my image for now!
Still a good set of speakers - stylish too.

I think they're better than the recently expired Logitech Z623 speakers, provided you have or know someone who has a Costco membership card.

    • Cheers… didn't get around to checking out stock levels today and taking my own pic. Something to do with 35 degree weather in Melbourne today! Hello summer!!

  • Ringwood has the same price. Plenty of stock.

  • There's another pallet load of these in the Docklands store again today… At least 40-50 I recon.
