I managed to get JB Hifi to price match it.

Not only did the guy bring up the incorrect art studio (he gave me the new one) but he also ran out of pokemon rumble, so he gave me $30 credit to use on games. Splashed out and spent an extra $20 to get the new zelda. Not too bad imo :P

Good choice on buying ALBW! :P It's one of those games where you spend hours playing it and haven't realised that you played that long until you are notified in game. I just finished the game and imo it trumps Ocarina of Time.

        • Yeah can't wait to play it, hopefully will be able to tonight :D

Glad to hear it's better than oot. I didn't really like it that much lol.

I'm surprised they did it considering the catalogue doesn't start until the 5th. The catalogue is coming up for me with Dungeon Quest 9 and Pokemon Rumble. JB don't seem to have either on their online store which means we should be able to drive a pretty hard bargain. I might do it this afternoon after work.

        • Yeah give it a go. If the receipt helps I can upload it for you if you think I got a good deal.

        • Receipt would be great

    • The target I went into (Joondalup) didn't have copies of the two free games, so they were offering two different games. When I said I wasn't interested, the guy said I could choose any 3DS game + any DS game I liked. So it turned out to be a great deal for me.

      • Any chance you could upload the receipt? I'm going to try this over the weekend, thanks

  • The Targets I've been into still have the original 3DS, but it's priced at $199! And they won't price match.

  • Yeap. Target in the US have $149 3DS XL albeit pre-tax and we get $249 bundles…

      Blame Nintendo for region locking.
