Need something better in group 3 none of the items in that group were useful for me

    • be quick guys - first in first serve.

Hi Rep, I chose the wrong item in the second section, can I change my SD card to Noontec A3S Full HD Media Player?

        • Sorry clse945111,

Can't change any items on trifecta deals.

          Regards
          SE

Could they cancel and reorder? Always a chance of missing an item doing that though.

        • Cancel & reorder is possible via email or phone at 02-83388899. However, please understand refund the money is not instant and the item you are interested in may not be available by the time you re-order.

          Cheers

        • I was hoping to change my group 3 item to the laptop cooler but the line seems to be busy.

EDIT: Got through, should be sorted now. Little bit of a hassle reordering though.

        • I personally tried to cancel an order (10 mins after placing it)once over one weekend. It was just after midnight on a Saturday morning so I used the resolution centre. Tuesday the item was shipped out. I never did end up getting a response to the ticket I lodged (been a few weeks now).

Wow the 2TB WD Portable is pretty well worth that on its own.

    • Sold out now.

  • +2

2TB External hard drive + Bluetooth receiver + HDMI Cable. $141.45. Cheers ShoppingExpress.

    • why pick hdmi cable? its cheap on ebay

      • +3

Was out of that and the cooling pad, but already has a cooling pad at home, so the HDMI Cable was the only one of use.

  • Group 3 is a joke :(

I have items in group 1 and 2 that I can easily buy, but just do not find anything interesting in group 3.

    • +1

      Cooling pad is not bad

      • That's what I chose, the one thing from group 3 that I might one day have some use for, the rest was a bit meh.

      • Thanks for the suggestion. Could I use it for any laptop? I have a 16" Vaio. Would this fit it? Too much to read and I don't want to miss out on other selections so just asking if you already know.

        • I think so. This coolingpad is quite large.

  • I agree good value in just the 2tb portable harddisk!

I also agree that group 3 could be better, seems like most items are more throw away than useful.

  • +1

    I don't see any SSDs?

    • -4

      I don't see any GeForce GTX780 3Gb DDR5.

      I don't see any 30" IPS Monitors.

      See what I did?

      • Look at the banner, SSD is clearly stated as one of the available choices.

        • -1

^ ^ He's right, does definitely say SSD. Says printers and monitors too. I guess they've reused an old graphic and not edited it up properly maybe?

Okay looks like it's an evolving list of items, one sells out, something gets added?

        • +1

yup - we will add new product once an item sold out.

          Regards
          SE

        • +2

Might rope people into more than one purchase that way :)

Come on guys - let's show an Oz site can do just as well, if not better than amazon on ozbargain during this festive season. We've offered the craziest of bargain so show some support and ozbargain our site :P.

    Cheers
    SE

    • +1

it is a great deal, but put back those 2tb drives.

    • +4

Put back those 2TB drives and we will show how OzB is about. 1000s of orders.

    • +1 for more 2tb portable drives, it's the only thing in Group 1 that I need.

      • Yes Yes 2TB and it will be the best deal. WD Elements 2TB or any other brand let it be :)

    • How many 2TB portables had you allocated? They seemed to go pretty quickly is all.

      • It was sold out in 15~20 min,,, may be 10-20..it was sold out by the time this was marked on front page !

        • +3

          good guess - we've allocated 20 pieces.

There are other products & combination with insane savings too (and limited stock) need to be quick.

          Cheers
          SE

        • 20 Seems OK , but may be we can have another shorter run for another 20 :D
How about adding a 1TB to group 2 otherwise. Brand doesn't matter for either the 1TB or 2TB :D

  • I would even go for a 1TB Portable drive if you add it to group 2 ;)

  • +1

that checkout process is a bit of a bitch. I give my PayPal account, then you ask me for the same details… that's part of what PayPal is for.

    • +1

Same here, I missed out as it goes to paypal takes all details still does not allocate stock till payment is completed. Checkout is done, we got to paypal , select complete payment on paypal site, still I guess stock does not get allocated.

Will send pics to rep and see what he says about it.

      • +1

After payment have been confirmed by paypal will an order/stock be committed. Due to many payment sessions happening concurrently during these type of promotions - you may get rejected/meet that situation at the end of your checkout if another person paid just that little faster than you and took the last stock.

Do apologize but that is the current way of our checkout and prevent/minimizing backorders or oversell.

        Regards
        SE

      • Had something of a similar issue a few weeks back. Placed an order for a 27" AOC monitor which was on special and included a hdmi cable.. went through the PayPal process, and it confirmed the amount, then at the end I clicked the (Paypal Express?) button, and the price had reverted back up and the cable been removed from the deal without warning from what I could tell (the order was started before midnight, but must have completed after 11:59pm?).

I then placed a cancel order request through the resolution centre, but several days later the item was sent out. Never did get a reply. So not so keen on their checkout and customer service. Otherwise previous orders have been fine no issues.

  • At checking and Targus 16" CityGear Backpack sold out before i could finish. :(

  • missed out on the 2TB portable and then the 3TB Green too… literally had it in my cart and went to grab a couple of UPS units and it sold out before I could go to the checkout… :(

    • They made me order a second time and cancel the first one because they wouldn't let me just change an item in the existing order. So when they get around to cancelling the order, you might be able to get the 3TB Green.

    • Its a shame that the cart doesn't reserve stock for at least 5 minutes or so. But i guess they could have people reserving 999 items and kinda hurt sales.

  • +1

Damn, missed out on the 3TB WD Green, but oh well, I've still got a 2TB Green that's empty, so maybe, this is for the better.

can you do a special on micro sd 32g again? thanks

    • Hi gsrt22,

      It is in today's promotion.

      Regards
      SE

      • +1

I was going to reply and say much the same thing but I think they want a deal on just a 32GB micro sd, not as part of this deal.

  • What are they delivery times in Sydney?

    • Within Sydney it is 1-2 business day after item is dispatched.

      Regards

1.5TB usb portable now up! $119.34 on static ice. $125.00 at MSY so $5 to $10 for the other 2 items

    • Haha, it's a Toshiba which won't work for me as I am still in the Dark Ages running Vista 64bit :)

    • -1

Check 2TB toshiba on Shopping Square $109

      • +1

That is an external HDD this is a portable one

        • Yup, the 2TB Toshiba portable is near $160 when they have stock.

        • Ta, shoulda looked closer, still they need a better naming convention.

        • Generally, "external" is a 3.5" device requiring a plugpack and anything including the word "portable" is a 2.5" which is powered by USB. There's probably cases where descriptions are incorrect and the wrong term is used but I haven't spotted one for a while.

At one point, almost every time a 2.5" portable drive deal was posted here, someone would inevitably comment on a same size 3.5" being heaps cheaper elsewhere so you're definitely not alone in making the mistake.

  • +1

Will you be getting any more of the 3TB Western Digital WD Caviar Green HDD before the end of the special?

    • no more 3TB for this promotion, but please grab others that's available, every combo i can see is a Bargain :).

      Regards
      SE

      • What about the 3TB by its self for $109 in the Cyber Monday special?

        • no more - we will try to see if we can allocate more for upcoming promotions.

          Regards
          SE

        • ok cool. hopefully the next special can be $109 or less :D

  • not quite a bargain IMO. Will scotty be going to your Christmas party?

  • Any chance of more 3TB internal drives being added or a 128GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD?

  • +1
  • Pity its not a mechanical keyboard, was really after one :(

  • +1

TBH rep, its the choices in the 2nd and 3rd groups that are killing it for me. Thanks for your effort though.

  • Was hoping for either a seagate 3tb backup plus USB 3.0 external or standalone hard drive in group 1…

  • Aww… think I was too late, doesn't seem to be anything from group 1 that I need…

  • Shame I missed this… bummer
