Lightroom is an excellent program for editing and cataloging your photos. This is the cheapest it's even been.

The Windows and box versions' prices have increased, but the Mac download is still at $70 - and according to the comments the serial number you get can be used on any platform. You'll just need to download the trial from Adobe before putting in the code.

TL,DR: Buy Mac version for $70; if you need a Windows version download the trial from Adobe and use your serial key to unlock.

    Sweet deal for superb software. Shame the upgrade version isn't discounted, it's $76 so currently more than full.

    Struggling to convince it that I'm American. I've changed my default 1-click address to a place in Oregon, but it still doesn't seem to work.

    EDIT: Figured it out. Had to change my billing address at the bottom of the payment page.

    I've been looking at Lightroom, and almost bought it from the AUS store as they have a sale on at the moment which brings it down to $148. I assume the actual software itself is no different when bought from amazon, versus the aus adobe site (like it'll register fine and everything)?

    Hmm, surely the download version you could just use the key on the demo? Buy the Mac version and still work on pc? , assume it would since the boxed copy is combined.

      Yeap.. the demo is exactly the same as the final version.. Use it for 30 days or enter in a valid serial number. The serial number works on both mac & PC versions, as I use a PC at home and use a Mac at work and both worked without issue.

    OK, bought the mac version, seems to have registered on PC fine. Used an address from Borderlinx that is in OH (didn't seem to charge any tax, doesn't seem like Ohio does.)

      Ohio most certainly has a sales tax (5.75%). Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon are the only states without. Maybe it has something to do with it being a digital version?

        Thanks, will know for next time. Must be because it's digital. Seems a lot of states are trying introduce an online sales tax.

        Weird that borderlinx would start a business of mail forwarding in a state that charges a tax, I'll get a new address next time I buy something digital from Amazon (probably a game with how good their sales have been)

    Don't forget that Adobe Lightroom + Photoshop is $9.99 a month (for 12 months).
    If you would like to try it out, it may be worth getting both for a year… PS has a few things that LR can't do (yet).
