    Where are these made?

    • +1

Well I'm going to have to neg this one as the rep can't even respond to a simple question.

These look very similar to the ones that can be had on eBay for $1-$3 so unless the rep says otherwise I'm going to assume that's what these are and $7.50 for those is definitely not a bargain.

      • Kamoi - Apologies for the late reply as I was away from desk. It is very disappointing to see that just based on late reply, you have already made your decision and nagged the deal.

Please refer to customer's(Mincey) feedback on the deal who has bought 10 ties from us on three different occasions

You won't be disappointed with the quality of ties and they are all hand made Silk ties.

We don't sell cheap $1 Polyester ties.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect timely responses when a store rep comes here to promote their products and build relationships with potential customers, especially considering how quickly some deals on here sell out.

I did wait 1.5 hours before placing my vote and in some cases having to wait that long for a response could mean missing out on a deal.

Anyway, I didn't make any mention of cheap $1 Polyester ties. The ties I'm referring to on eBay are handmade 100% woven silk.

Also, you still haven't answered my question.

          Where are these made?

        • I have already apologised for the late response.

To answer your question, yes they are made in china however this factor isn't the representation of quality by itself.

Half of the world products are manufactured in China either directly or indirectly. Please give me surprise by saying that you believe all of them are low quality because of their country of origin.

Comparing our ties with some low quality EBay ties is absurd especially when there are positive customer feedbacks and you have never bought and used our ties before.

I wanted to know the country of origin as it is a huge factor in determining whether this is a bargain or not.

I haven't made any mention of quality, but if you want to get into that then let's do so.

The cheap ones I've purchased on eBay in the past have been excellent quality, though the slightly more expensive ones ($5-$8) from India have in my experience been even higher quality.

What I think is absurd is for you to make a blanket statement about ties on eBay being low quality. Have you ever bought any of them or is there some sort of superiority complex at work here?

Based on the $7.50 price for a Chinese tie my vote stands.

          Not a bargain!

Please give me surprise by saying that you believe all of them are low quality because of their country of origin.

Statements like this certainly don't help build your image. Very unprofessional.

        • You have already indicated that all China made products are low quality. There is nothing I could do to assist when someone is biased towards Chinese products. .

        • +1

I never said a thing about quality until you brought it up and even then I said they were excellent quality.

Please don't accuse me of saying something I never did. I think you need to pay more attention and maybe learn a thing or two about customer service.

You deserve a neg for being evasive. kamoi asked a pretty bloody simple question and when you finally decided to reply, you answered with some irrelevant garbage telling us we won't be disappointed, making comparisons to polyester ties and linking us to another deal.

The fact is, you know that your ties are coming out of the same Chinese sweatshops as the Ebay ones, except your prices are a joke and wouldn't even be a bargain even at half the price.

        • I am confident of the quality of these ties and I did not hide any facts.

I referred to my previous deal which had the similar ties and it was truly relevant.

i agree. this just appears to be another seller selling chinese mass distributed goods which i can buy from sites like aliexpress for cheaper.

other reps selling chinese goods are honest about their goods and reflect that it in their product descriptions and more importantly, their pricing.

the only instance where i would pay more than sites like aliexpress for the same product is when the goods are based in australia and therefore ship faster (the price differential then becomes the premium for faster shipping).

  • They look very much like the Chinese ties I have bought previously…

    • Where they good/ok ?

      • Actually yeah, they were ok. I still wear some of them.
