  • Hi,

Yes, I know it says "This promotion is available to customers located and with billing addresses in the United States."

    (I know)

Some people have billing addresses in the United States. :+)

  • Op, so if you have a US billing address but an Australian delivery address, will this work? Also does it work only on future purchases or can make a claim for november's purchases?

    • Q1, Yes, I think so. I got my Credit. :+)

Q2, You can't retrospectively apply a credit against past purchases. The offer is what it is.

  • Off topic: wanting help with Amazon

I don't enjoy shopping at Amazon at all. I find interesting things sold by Amazon. I add them to the cart only to find out (at the last few steps) that they won't ship to Australia.

Does anyone know how to stop this hit/miss? It's VERY annoying.

Using amazonglobal.com should limit the items you see to those that will ship to Australia.

Otherwise, have goods sent to Shipito.com (or similar) and pay them to send them on over to Australia

    • Just use a forwarding service: www.hopshopgo.com

      ;)

      • This should be a last resort, because shipping charges of freight forwarders is very expensive. Look to buy it somewhere locally or some place else online first. It will probably end up cheaper.

Unless there is no other place you can get it, or the saving is so big that it's still cheaper after shipping, I wouldn't use them. If the price is not much more expensive to buy from some place that will ship to AU, I'd rather do that, because warranty will be difficult through a FF.

Thanks I just placed an order for $40 US dollars and the $5 came off no problem!

  • Noob question - how do you get a US billing address, to qualify for this credit?
