I'd -ve this if I could.
Plenty of the same cheap chinese mp4 players are available on ebay for the same price

    eg linky

A sansa clip isn't much more and will provide more then 4 hours battery that this thing has.

Whilst the Shopping Square deal isn't that crash hot, off your link, it would cost $4 more to import and be much more of a hassle for warranty purposes….

But I get your point ;) Ebay link below to something that looks nicer, similar feature set and costs a couple of bucks less

    • is sansa clip mp3 and this mp4?
I'm not too familiar with these things

So whats a good mp4 player to buy? :D

      • MP4 means it can play video, though the video will need to be the correct size/format. The Sansa clip also plays video.

Sansa Clip is one of the best cheap players in terms of audio quality. If you're wanting to watch videos though then I'd go with something with a bigger screen, Cowon D2+ or S9 are excellent players, though they're hardly in the same price range as the player above.

Please include postage in the price that is listed in the title. Hate clicking on a deal to see $10 extra for postage!!

  • Low price but utter garbage.

A frequency range of 20Hz to 20Khz? That's about equivalent to a 1990's Walkman. I have a pair of $5 dollar headphones with a greater response than that.

I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this for any price, for $60 dollars these days you can get your hands on a trustworthy Samsung Pebble or Creative Zen Stone. Something a little more worthwhile and with DECENT sound quality above all.

I second this motion. Although I can't vouch for every one of these generic players on the market, the video playback is usually woeful and conversion software slow and not too user-friendly. The features also tend to misbehave a fair bit. That's my experience anyway when I bought one a couple of years back for around $100 because a similar product sourced locally made by a reputable company was $300+.

    • 20-20kHz not enough? Are you a dog? And sorry, your $5 headphones lied to you. (assuming you mean -3dB range)

      • Are you deaf and stupid?

Humans can hear from 20,000Hz to 25,000Khz.

And I'm being 100% serious, I have a pair of Philips SPH-2000 I got on sale for $5 that have a greater freq. range than this hunk of junk.

Might wanna try turning you hearing aid next time pal, to compensate for your propensity to talk nonsense.

        • No need to be rude. And (while you're ironically calling freddy stupid)… I'm sure you meant "25kHz", not "25,000kHz".

While there are some outlandish claims that humans can hear up to 40kHz (subconsciously), generally, 20Hz-20kHz is the widely accepted and test-able human hearing range. Could you substantiate where you get this 25kHz figure from?

This is one of those times where I say, If it doesn't play bloody mp4's, DON'T call it an mp4 player.

But the rep says it does mp4 and wma. Reps never lie.
