Bush Retro DAB+ Digital Radio TR82DAB $52.80 @ Officeworks

50

Officeworks are selling the Retro-styled BUSH DAB+ Digital Retro Radio with AM/FM/LW.
Note: If you check a few different stores, you might be able to find the new version with the AUX input. The box has a gold logo on the front.

They dropped their price to match JB Hifi's sale, but the two JB Hifi's I went into had the older unit without the AUX input. I tried a Harvey Norman and three OfficeWorks before I found one of the newer ones.

It says out of stock online, but instore they seemed to have plenty of stock.

  • Why are almost all DAB+ receivers mono only? Serious question.

Gov are cheep asshole have not plans to lay out DAB any else at this point.

    • I don't know but it seems from here that broadcasters are using very very low bit-rates. It seems in Australia, DAB is broadcast for clarity, not quality.

    • If you are referring to kitchen radio, then yes, they mostly have 1 speaker.

DAB+ broadcasts are mostly in stereo in Sydney except SkySportsRadio2 and Sky Racing World.
