  • Does the receipt include GST? Could I claim TRS?

Nexus phones are making Samsung phones look very expensive.

You need to pay a premium price for lag. Nexus devices are the best value out here. I found my nexus 4 gets quicker with each update compared to my old s3 that started to lag with every new update.

Nexus phones are making all other phones look very expensive.

        FTFY.

Google's profit margins on Nexus devices are quite thin I believe. When the Nexus 4 launched it was priced at $349 and this was during a time where other flagship phones retailed for over $600.

    • My nexus 5 screen cracked from holding it lightly in my mouth while moving boxes. Stupid idea holding a phone in a mouth yes, but the glass seems to be pretty damn fragile (comparatively to my Note 2 at least)

      Quite a common complaint: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/nexus…

  • Could you do us any deal on the LG G2 EXPonline rep? Fair bit of demand for them around here lately.
    Thanks

  • Is this genuine Aussie Stock? Can I claim TRS ?

    • Is this genuine Aussie Stock?

      No.

      Can I claim TRS ?

What for? EXP AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. do not collect, nor remit any taxes.

      • thanks man. I guess i will give it a pass.

  • $389 without a warranty. Maybe we should wait for the Aussie prices to drop.

  • If I order today when could I expect delivery on the Note 3?

Tossing up between you and Kogan atm

    • I would personally never deal with kogan again.

    and

    Fobsessive

I would personally never deal with kogan again.

Both sellers are supplying these SAMSUNG devices with no local warranty support from SAMSUNG Australia.

ExpOnline have NO physical presence in Australia. They are using a 'shell' to register their .com.au domain.

At least Kogan HK Pty Ltd (from whom you would be buying and importing this item) have an associated business/entity here in Australia (Kogan Pty Ltd), with staff, offices, and 'real' phone numbers.

I understand that it is Kogan Pty Ltd who actually assists with, and 'handles' any warranty claims.

So, I would advise that you order from Kogan if you are happy with the price and the lack of a local SAMSUNG supported two year warranty.

      Good call.

I've used Kogan before and was even happy with their warranty process (full refund after 2 weeks of using the item).

      • Their time to ship is slow. It's been four days and they are yet to even ship it.
(In a bit of a hurry as my current phone is RIP)
