$25 off When You Spend $100 or More at Masters (Everyday Rewards Members)

1410
EDR25FOR100

Enter the code at checkout once the transaction total reaches $100. You can get the final total down as low as $75 if you order exactly $100 worth of goods. Delivery fees apply unless you have a free delivery code or use click and collect.

The web page linked to says that it is for Everyday Rewarsd members only but there is no indication in the terms and conditions that the online code is targeted to specific members.

There are certain exclusions which are listed near the bottom of the linked web page.

I just used the promotion to get $100 of Christmas presents for $75.

EDIT: As mentioned above this is available to Everyday Rewards members. There are notes in the commments below about how to enter your Everyday Rewards card number in your Masters account settings in order for the coupon code to work.

    • Was there a mix up between the zeros and the letter O in the voucher code?

      • Isn't working for me either :(
Although I'm trying to buy Weber accessories. It doesn't say you can't and it even has a Weber pictured on the page which is freaking annoying.

    • +5

login / register your account, then enter your everyday rewards card number in the account page. (May account->Change your details). after these, checkout again. should work.
was getting same error. once card number is saved in account settings then all good.

      • Thanks. I hope that helps other members.

      • That worked thx.

I got a "gift card" in the mail with the same $25 off $100 for in-store purchases.
Very interesting that they make a point that I received the offer because I'm an Everyday Rewards card member yet you don't earn any Qantas Frequent Flyer or Everyday Rewards points when you shop at Masters.

  • Can't use on Weber BBQ.

    • Or accessories so it seems :(

    • Worked for me on a Baby Q. $233 including free vinyl cover.

Crap website, when I add to cart it just freezes or returns to the home page. Yet another reason I prefer Bunnings.

    • +12

The Bunnings website is absolutely useless and has none of the functionality that the Masters one has and when was the last time Bunnings had a 25% off sale? Never.

      • Yep. The New Bunnings website is SO BAD. Even the old one sucked less.

    works Im a fan :)

Earlier in the comments there is a note about entering your Everyday Rewards card number. This appeared to solve some problems that other members reported.

      • +1

thanks very much! it works for me as well.

need to register it first before you buy it. otherwise, code not working!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Normal items seem to work fine.
But can anyone confirm that the code doesn't work with giftcard?

    • Are you buying a giftcard or paying with a gift card?

Gift card purchases are excluded from the deal.

I haven't seen any terms and conditions preventing you paying with a Wish card or a Masters gift card.

      • I think he meant paying with Wish card which can be had at 5% off with motoring associations promos.

    • giftcards are bought from a third party site

    • I can confirm that you can make an online purchase with this discount and then pay with a "WISH CARD". Works just fine.

Not sure how to address my answer with the question of confirm that it doesn't work with one though.

    • Sorry guys, I didn't make myself clear. I was trying to buy gift cards as there are no specific things I would need from Masters atm, but would love to buy $100 worth of gift card for later use.

  • Could anyone recommend a drill driver for general home DIY around $100?

  • +2

Thanks OP, just ordered with click and collect a Honeywell Steel Security Safe, was $145, afer discount $125, paid with a "wish card" that you get for %5 off through the RAC, so actually paid $118.75. So I can confirm that it works when using gift cards to pay.

Didn't even know I "needed" a safe until I saw this offer and started looking at their online stock. We should have done this before, after getting burgled and loosing passports and birth certificates amongst other valuable items stolen. A safe adds another level of security and peace of mind.

    • Now you just need something to hide the safe in and you're right as rain

      • -1

Wouldn't they just steal the safe?

        • +2

The safe comes with two steel concrete anchors , and I have mounted the safe in a base of a closet, with the anchors drilled into our 100mm thick concrete floor pad of the house. On the base of the unit is three holes for securing to ground, and five holes on the back for securing to rear wall. Picking up another couple of extra concrete anchors for a couple of bucks each at Masters, and I am sure the crooks can take the safe, but they will have some work on their hands pulling it from all those achor points. (Surely someone that keen and with the required tools would be doing a commercial premises, not a residence)
Plus we then cut out a cardboard packing box to fit over the top of the safe, so it now looks like a cardboard box on the floor, with lots of other stuff stacked on top…. Really not hard to do, and anything that makes it a little harder to help themselves too is a good thing IMO.
Oh yes, I got the maths wrong on my savings above, the cost was $145 (A Honeywell Model 5105, actually made in California USA, not one of the Chinese manufactured ones), with $25 discount comes to $120, then saving another 5 percent ($6 saving on $120) using a wish card so we paid $114.

    • I saw this 2, looks good for the price. Unfortunately was not available to my store (oakliegh south) and only shipping option was truck delivery, so went for the cheap and cheerful partner chainsaw at $99 (plus a 3 pin plug I needed for as couple of bucks)

      • I think the Partner one would be better for the money, see all the husqvarna company tags on the saw. I had a look on friday before this deal came up but yeah the saw actually looks the goods. The build quality of the engine and main gear looks good. Im not saying it would be anything great. I think husqvarna sell it in Eastern europe as a third party brand, but McCulloch has been rubbish for a pretty long time.

        • Husky owns mucculloch…

  • For those who get error message, make sure u update ur everyday rewards card number in "my account" section.
This code is linked to everyday rewards card.
One u update your or anyone's ( any of ur mate / family's) everyday rewards card number, the code should work.

    Good Luck !!!!

  • Darn I just got a freezer there last week. Mind you it was $109 cheaper than anywhere else but still!!! Lol

  • +2

    Big Thanks to original poster.

  • Anyone tried the 909 petrol line trimmer? Its $59, planning to get it together with the 909 electric edger ($49).

  • I've been waiting for this deal to come back since I missed out the last time it's available.

Picked up a Bailey 1.8m dual purpose ladder (rated 120kg for household) $99 & a 3 step ladder to use inside the house $29. The same Bailey but for professional rated $150kg is still $189 at masters & bunnings. Total $103, I'm happy :)

  • For anyone wanting Weber accessories, I got Masters to price beat Ray's Outdoors by 10%.
    Picked up the rolling cart (Masters - $90 Ray's - $89.96) minus 10% =$80.96
    and the Baby Q cover (Masters - $24.96 Ray's - $22.46) minus 10% = $20.21

Not as good as $25 off, but better than nothing.

  • Does anyone know how long this will run for?

    • The web pages says 31 December, 2013.

  • +1

It's about time I actually needed something when a deal comes up!!! $25 saved… Thanks OP!

  • I went to the store and picked up $100 worth of staff and at the check-out, they said they need to scan a gift card as well as the Everyday Rewards Card to give me the discount.

Does anyone know what gift card are they talking about? How do I get one?

    Cheers

    • We paid with a "Wish" gift card, they are good for use at BigW, Woolies, Dick Smith, Masters, BWS etc….

You can get them at any Woolies store, or if you have access to a motoring club (Like we have RAC in WA), the RAC sell Wish cards for 5 percent less than face value (So you save 5 percent on a $100, paying only $95, That is another saving you can make on top of the $25 offered by Masters)

    • The "gift card" in question isn't a Wish card. In my opinion it isn't a "gift card" at all. It only has any value once you spend a certain amount at Masters so in my opinion it is a voucher or a coupon. The reason the term gift card has been used is that Masters/Everyday Rewards sent the cards out to selected members and called it a "gift card" in their marketing/promotional material. It's a cardboard/plastic card with a barcode on the back and the online coupon code written in various places on the card and the associated marketing material that came with the card.

"Crownie" mentioned this card in his comment on 8/12/13 and I was wondering why no-one else asked questions about it.

I have no idea if the barcode on the back is generic (like previous Masters barcodes) or whether there is information which will tie it back to the member who was sent the card in the post. For various technical and personal reasons I cannot post a copy of the card here.

Based on past experience with Masters deals and various Woolworths deals, I posted the online coupon code here. The web page linked to above seemed to be a public page rather than a restricted page so the online version of the promotion looked like a general offer to me.

Sorry for the delay in posting this information. We have had technical problems with our network. I didn't get a chance to log out of OzBargain before the problems so it would have looked like I was still logged in but I haven't done anything on the site for about 24 hours.

    • All they checked with me was a licence and the credit card I paid with online.

I wondered if they would ask for the Everyday rewards card and this "gift card" thats mentioned in the ad but they didnt.

      • It took a little stuffing around, as per above comments on initially entering your EDR card, but I purchased online. The only thing I did was took my print out of the purchase in and they went and grabbed it for me, no licence, no EDR card, no questions!!!

  • Could you get one thing for >$100, get $25 back and then get another thing using the same rewards card?

    • +1

No you cant. But its as simple as signing up for a new EDR & replacing the linked card in your masters account.
Did it today for a weber + another transaction for accessories.

PS. for those of you who received the physical gift card, you can get some pretty decent weber deals. I didnt get one and when I called up EDR to enquire about it, they said it was a targeted offer.
      E.g. Q200 $359 (price beat Rays Outdoors $350.10) = $315.09 less $25 EDR = $290.09
      Or Family Q $644 (price beat Rays Outdoors $620.10) = $558.09 less $25 EDR = $533.09

Rays promo ends on 20/12. Again this is in store only and for those who received the special barcode via mail / email.

      • New EDR card didn't work for me, they must have closed that loophole.

Had to get my wife to join and put in the next order.

      • worked for me just now

  • +1

Just tried and worked. Thanks OP

  • Can this be used more than once?

Also, can this be used at the Register? Or is it purely online only?

    • I'm guessing it can be used once per everyday rewards account. If another member of the family has their own everyday rewards account number and a Masters online account then you would be able to use the code twice. The only way the deal can be used instore is if you have the specific card with a barcode on the back that was sent to specific everyday rewards members.
