Cheaper if you buy from Amazon, by the way.

Here's how much it costs in my cart.

    • Only a few dollars cheaper when converted to AUD (through 28 Degrees). Also only the white/Mac/Bluetooth version available at that price, with no local warranty. Nevertheless, Amazon is still a good option if you're intending to buy other things at the same time to save on a bit on postage. :)

You'd get it a lot faster from Amazon! :-P

LOL, that wouldn't surprise me — my last two Amazon orders shipped using the cheapest method (iparcel) took exactly a week to Sydney, which is a bit quicker than usual. :)

      • Keep in mind that Amazon postage has gone up in the last year (as have most US suppliers) as the USPS upped their prices by 30%. Got a bit of a shock when I ordered 2 weeks ago :(

    • I can't see it New for that price on Amazon anymore

  • Daym, picked up the mac one the other week for $25 on clearance at officeworks, works nicely with win7 but woulda been cool to have the logi software. then again - bluetooth is rather handy too, can use the ḿac'one with just about anything

    • so the 'Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad for Mac' which has Bluetooth should also works with Win8?

      • mac is for mac, if u want pc get the pc specific one

  • How does this sit against the Apple Wired Keyboard? Higher or lower?

    • Lower/flatter. I got one to match the EasySwitch Keyboard or whatever they called the one with backlit keys. Software pretty much matches the Magic Trackpad's functionality, and this one you get to recharge the built-in battery with the included micro USB cable.

let me know if anyone wants to have it for $38. i bought it at $39 from the last Jb hifi deal, un-opened.

    sydney cbd pick-up.

  • It's a shame the Black (PC) one isn't Bluetooth as well… only the White (Mac) one is apparently…

  • Does the bluetooth (Mac) one work with Windows?

Bought one for MAC, and it was shit, get the apple trackpad instead, the logitech one lags, and pinch to zoom sometimes docent work

    • Sounds like a faulty unit. Had a Magic Trackpad for years, switched to this one and it's pretty much the same.

  • Some people like using trackpads? I can't stand using my laptop without a USB mouse.

The Macbook Pro trackpad is very, very good. I haven't used a windows laptop trackpad that comes close. Same with the bluetooth Apple trackpad.

I dare say using the Macbook trackpad is faster than using a mouse cause of the the multitouch gestures. Makes workflow SO much quicker.

    • Depends what you're doing, I can use a trackpad with my left hand quite well, but not a mouse.

      • +1

haha in what situations do you have to use your left hand?

        • Whenever Wang is involved.

  • It's a good deal. Might have to get me one.
The trackpad on my MacBook is the ONLY thing I like about it so it will be a nice addition to my Windows PC.

I wonder why the monitor is flipped in the Windows image…it's backwards.

  • To select text with a mouse you left click and move the mouse pointer over the text you want. How would one do this with a trackpad?

    • +1

Either double tap/triple tap on the words (selects either the word or the paragraph.

Or, tap and hold and then move over what you want to select. Pretty easy, but not as nice as a mouse in that regard.

      • Great, thanks for that.
