Do heed the warning posted on CabotHealth's webpage:

    RETRACTION

Advertisements promoting a number of Cabot Health products, which we published on the websites www.cabothealth.com.au and www.livercare.com.au, should not have been published.

In the advertisements we unlawfully made claims that the products could offer benefits in relation to serious health concerns including diabetes, diabetic neuropathy, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, retinopathy, osteoporosis, hypertension or high blood pressure, heart attacks, strokes, kidney disease, blindness, cirrhosis, tumours, hemochromatosis, Wilson's disease, sclerosing cholangitis, and primary biliary cirrhosis, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, hepatitis, Alzheimer's disease, tumours, and cancer.

A complaint about the advertisement was recently upheld by the Complaints Resolution Panel. We provided no evidence to support the claims we made, and the Panel found that the claims were unlawful, misleading, and unverified and breached the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.

The Panel therefore requested that Cabot Health publish this retraction.

The full text of the Panel's determination can be found at: www.tgacrp.com.au/complaints

Great to see the TGA finally growing some balls and bringing these charlatans to account. Dr Sandra Cabot (not even her real name - it is Dr Sandra McRae) claims to be a "liver doctor". Checking her qualifications on AHPRA, she does not appear to have ANY advanced training in Aus in hepatology/gastroenterology at all. Steer clear from this fraud.

Cabot Health had to put this retraction on our website because of the legislation concerning the marketing/education of the public regarding nutritional supplements. This legislation is very inflexible and unfriendly (non-conciliatory).

        Tragus go troll elsewhere.

        Exactly, you mislead the public.

Could you please ask Sandra McCrae what the "DRCCOG" title stands for. I am aware of DRCOG, not DRCCOG. I wouldn't trust someone who can neither sign off with their real name, nor spell their own qualifications.

  • its not really 75% off your regular price though, is it?

Glutamine is a lot cheaper elsewhere

    • Colostrum is not cheap, and is in the formula.

    Dat pseudo science…
Peer reviewed paper with significant results or this isn't a bargain.
