  • Wait until after X'mas, the price will fall below $1000 because not many people want to drink hot coffee during the summer.

    • Yes and the fact that the BES920 is coming out - however, these coffee machines have had a pretty steady price for the past few years. I don't see them dropping too much lower.

      • You'll get a further 10-20% off on boxing date sale. I found another online seller without the grinder for $1106

This is before the BES920 comes out

BES920 is already out. You can get the BES920 + BCG800 for $1200-$1300 if you bargain hard. A better deal than the superseded BES900 I think.

Bought a bes920 with the smart grinder for $1299 at myers last week.

      • It seems to be the "standard" price - a lot of people can negotiate the price down to this level.

Not negging because this isn't a bad deal but as I posted in the forums with some negotiation you can get the BES920 and smart grinder for around the same price, I personally paid $1214. See https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/125199 for my experiences. The only reason I didn't post a deal is because I'm not sure it would be repeatable.

  • This is a great machine but not without its well documented issues, most of which have been addressed by Breville with a 'B' version released (just need to check the box to know you are getting one)….. At this price point it has no competitors with the same set of features. It is so easy even for a beginner with only half a clue to get coffee better than so many cafes that charge $3.50+

  • i just picked up the bes920 and smart grinder for $1300 from myer chermside. Seems pretty repeatable
