It seems like a good idea, heaps of people will happily grab a free sample with no intention of ever buying a product. 80cents is very cheap for a trail of a product that you may be willing to purchase although I'm not sure what you could ascertain from 1ml of moisturiser.

      • This is Ozbargain, not GiveUsFreeAdvertisingAndPayForOurMinusculeSamples.com

Sometimes I get samples along with junk mail and they are in the 10-15ml range which is just enough to actually sample. With 1ml the only impression this may make is that of the scent, but it certainly won't tell you if the product is any good.

I love the advert in the link, 'Always Smile' with a model who looks miserable.

You want us to pay to sample 1ml of your product?

This is a complete joke by any standard. 1ml is completely and utterly useless, and we need to pay for it.

We are here for bargains, not to pay you for the opportunity to try your products.

  • Just bought some. Good for me at the moment, as I'm trying out different creams and foundations.

  • If you are trying to get consumers to try out some of your sample product, it should be completely free including free postage. Unfortunately for this reason I will have to Neg this.

If you want to save on postage costs, maybe consider giving free handouts at a popular spot in the city.

  • Thanks for the feedbacks, we understand free samples+free shipping is probably more attractive, in fact we given Ozbargainers 1000 sets away in the past, however what we have found is, most of the people that requested samples applied for it simply because its free, not because they have any interest in that product, therefore in this run we requested a small shipping fee just to ensure the applicant actually have some interest in this product. We thank you all for the feedbacks, we will definitely review the feedbacks and think about a better way to present this to you all, cheers. :)

PS: 6 x 1ml of BB Cream can last for about 1 month, a standard 40ml BB Cream usually last for 6~9 months on average use. (3~5 times a week) :)
