Was just browsing around and found this to be cheaper than any other stores.
The phone has a FULL HD screen and uses MT6589Turbo CPU (which is one of the best ones that MTK offers)
It's an HTC Butterfly ripoff
Air Mail shipping is completely free, and DHL is less than $10.

It supports 3G(WCDMA) 850/2100MHz, which means Telstra(850), Voda(850), Optus(900/2100) are OK to use, just not Optus' 900MHz which is probs country areas.

PS: Change the currency to AUD, it's cheaper than USD.

  • Why I see $169.99 USD?

    • Turn it to AUD, apparently they haven't changed their exchange rate after AUD got smaller than USD.

        Have u actually purchased it?

Iirc geekbuying still charge in usd no matter what currency u change it to on their website.

        • Yes, I can confirm that I have paid AU$177.82 (including DHL shipping)
that's what's showing in the paypal email

    " 1GB RAM + 4GB ROM"
I don't care how good the phone is, 4GB internal storage is too small.
the OS already takes about 3GB.
there's about 1GB left to install Apps (before you can move them to SD)
some games are almost 2GB today.

I will give this one a pass

    • Supports up to 32GB external card, so just buy one?

      • +2

make sure you ask them, most chinese brand phone not allowed you to move your apps to external card. 4GB is useless, one of my mate own s4 rip off, it only had 4G ROM, cant move app to the external card, only photo, music but not app

        • Weird. The ones I have all allow move between internal and external storage.
There are certain ones that are restricted to internal only, but I had FIFA 14 and Iron Man 3 installed directly to SD card.

would be nice if you can set the phone to install directly to SD card wouldn't it.
Most of the time, you have to install the App to the phone FIRST then move it SD second.
so if the App is big, it won't even install

    • I suppose it's good to be a second phone,
as I already have an HTC One for my day to day use.
This phone is gonna be my disposable phone like if I go clubbing or say go to the beach etc…
so I don't really feel bad if it gets stolen or lost.

(or even a back up phone when there's anything wrong with my htc one)

  • This is tempting… but cant find reviews beside from the guy who is selling it.

  • 404 error for me?

    • works fine for me

      • Hmm, works for me too now. Not sure what my issue was there.

  • people have a look at photos on website, that does not look like 1920x1280, looks more like 1200x700 or somthing similar for screen res.

    • There's an older version called H920 (without the +), that one comes with 720p screen.
They mistakenly put on the older gen photos

  • Does this phone have more or less ROM than a Galaxy S2. The specs say that the S2 has 16gb of internal storage - is this the same as ROM? Just trying to gauge whether 4gb ROM is going to be enough space to run an operating system and some apps. Thanks

    • It depends on the apps you're gonna run, most of them can be moved to SD card I think.
S2 has 16Gb ROM and 1GB RAM, this has 4GB ROM and 1GB RAM, so without a SD card you can install more apps on the S2. (but this one has better screen and better CPU, if that's what you're looking for)
