  • the demo model is 32GB but for $597 you get the 16GB as in the product description

  • I got my 32G one for $570 from JB

    • how did you manage to do that?

because their price on the site was $640

      • Cheapest price I got was $618 which is not too bad but definitely not a deal.

I said to JB staff, HM can give me 10% off with trade in old phone. He said I can give you same price without trade in.
        I said $570 is OK? He said it's OK。

    • I tried getting that price at JB but failed.

Much rather get the Nexus 5

Then you're a bit of a muppet then.. The G2 is the best phone on the market right now, spec wise anyway.

      • Specs ain't everything. What version of Android is this running in comparison to the Nexus 5?

        • +2

I'll take specs over Android versions every day of te year, because I can always get a custom ROM - I can't upgrade the CPU/RAM, and battery size is a winner as well.

There is however word of 4.4 being released for the G2 early next year, if you need it to be all official.

@ryang, you do know that the Nexus 5 and LG G2 have the same CPU and RAM?

        • +3

          @ryang - and Nexus 5 is $178 cheaper, IMO I don't think 700mAh battery worth that much.

        • +2

well… both Nexus 5 and G2 are manufactured by LG Electronics. I really don't see a point to this argument… Maybe some people just prefer the look or design of G2?

      • +1

Xperia Z1 seems better, unless I'm missing something…

        • Looks identical to me. Bonus points for being waterproof, but losses points for an all glass back.. And I think the screen on the G2 is slightly bigger.

    • +2

Unless battery life is a priority. 2300mAh vs 3000mAh makes a huge difference. I cannot make it through a whole day on my Nexus 5 with moderate use.

      • What is moderate use?
I get around 5 hours screen time and 2 days out of a full charge on my Nexus 5.

  • Xperia z1 $599?

  • This is everyday price since LG G2 arrived in Australia. 16G=$599 32G=$649.

  • sorry guys, my bad, would have read the descriptions ~_~
