Artrage is a "natural media" paint program, like Corel Painter, that simulates real world effects like oil paints and water colours. Its especially nice if you have a graphics tablet or a something like a MS Surface Pro that has a pressure sensitive pen (I'm using on my ATIV 700T from an OZB deal from a couple of months back) Its amazing seeing the way the oil paints smear together when you paint over them or the way the water colours merge. There's a free app in the Windows 8 store called Fresh Paint that gives an idea of what this is like. Maybe this is a bit niche, you still have to be pretty keen on your digital painting to buy it even at $28, but hopefully I'm not the only one that thinks its a good deal.
