I might return mine since it takes quite a bit of time to learn how to use it and I only need something basic to browse the web.

    • Takes time to learn how to use Windows??

First time using Win8 and the tablet/metro interface isn't as intuitive as Android or IOS.

        • Download Classic Shell to restore your start menu and desktop view and bypass all the metro garbage ;-)

        • Why would you use desktop on a tablet? I use Metro most of the time unless something I need to use on desktop.

wonderboy, they are basically the same just icons on screen, of course no widget like Android but IOS no widget neither.

        • As metro apps are severely lacking and limited so 75% of the time I need to switch back to desktop mode anyways.

Might as well skip the whole metro shenanigans in the first place imo.

      • and you think they will take the return after you've been playing with it for however long you like?

Barely used it <1hr and OW lets you return for change of mind

  • Im really interested in this but want to click and collect which isn't available right now. Away early next week and worried it won't get delivered in time. Wonder if they'll make click and collect available tomorrow.

    Good deal though!

  • in Taiwan, the 500GB ver just AUD 523.

I bought this T100 months ago with special pricing, and I would say I love it. I have iMac, and wanted to get a windows based laptop, so I use only couple of hours per day, battery last for 4-5 days.

    Pros:

    Long battery life,

    2 in 1 (laptop/ tablet)

Window based PC, which I am familiar with

Little number of apps and more to come (I see more and more apps recently)

    Fast turn on, fast operation

Free Office software is just great

    Easy accèss to emails

    Cons:

Small screen, somewhat too small as a laptop

Activ X is not supported and I can't do Korean online banking, no way to change mode to Windows XP

    • I think the plug-in doesn't support IE 10 or 11. Maybe, sometimes happen in. TW's online banking as well.

  • Soz, noob here on windows tablet. So this runs on full w8 or just rt?
