got one iphone 5c last time, in perfect conditions, would recommend this to anyone who is after a budget iphone ;)
iphone 5 from $495, iphone 4 from $255
Note: the newer model you get, the better chance you have Apple remaining Au local warranty on it, like with my iPhone 5C, I still have warranty up to Oct 2014 ;)
If iPhone 5C not available from EBGames, this is still a good alternative: http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/apple-iphone-5c-32gb-white/

When did EB games sell iPhones?

    • long ago ;), I'm using a tablet and an iphone bought from them, no problem at all so far ^_^

  • webtherapist, does it come with an Apple warranty too like the refurbished Apple products?

    • No they dont, since they are not refurbished by apple.

EB game refurbish process is wiping the phone with a cloth and putting it back in the box.

      • that's not true, have u actually got one from them?I did and it is in clean and perfect conditions plus AU local warranty from Apple Store (I did check with serial number)

I got a iphone 4 from the a while back. The home button didnt work, no warranty left from apple, had a lot of scratch on it, had to return it. Its all depend on the condition of the trade-in phone.
You got a 5c which is still in warranty because it is still new when people trade it in. Of course it would be in perfect condition since the people hardly use the phone.

No chance any iphone 5 downward would still have any warranty left on it. What jdf mean by apple refurbished is the 3 months warranty regardless of the phone age by apple standard refurbished warranty.

    • it actually does, mine still has 10 months warranty from Apple Australia

  • Remind me again the difference between the 5 and the 5c (besides the shell)

    • battery and weight

    • battery, weight, speed (a little faster), camera (no more purple ring), and most importantly is Blue Tick supported if u use Telstra, iphone5s has no signal at where i live but this iphone5c

Thanks Web, whilst I don't necessarily agree with your lifestyle choices, I value your deals on Ozbargain.

I was exactly the same. Our OzB brains are in boxing day overload!

    • yes and it is on my hand ;), $520 shipped, local leftover AU Apple warranty (til Oct 2014), good buy ^_^

  • Webtherapist you were really lucky with your iphone 5C. Unfortunately I bought a refurbished iphone 4S from EB games last year but it was covered with scratches and there was no remaining warranty :(

    • feel sorry for your past experience with EBGames, I hope they did follow up properly with your case :(

  • Has anyone actually had an issue with an iphone 5 from EB?

  • well apple recently extended their warranty to two years. which means as long as the phone wasn't purchased from a telco company but actually from Apple themselves they all should still have warranty.
