  • I remember seeing NFC tag posts in the past that highlight the different model tags… one model has more memory so can be programmed with more functions, the other is rather limited with memory… I'll get searching soon and try to answer this myself, but while I'm at work someone else who's "in the know" might beat me to it and provide a response..?

    • NTAG203 has 140 bytes

      • 144 according to the Ops description :)

I was trying to figure out if this is the larger or smaller memory amount for NFC tags. Having had a quick look, it sounds like the NTAG203 is newer with more memory. Great, I just didn't want to be uninformed and buy an older tech that can't do as much for me…

…still, no idea what I'm going to use these for yet, but a wise old man once said if you build it they will come… which sorta screams shoot first, ask questions later, or BUY BUY BUY… :D

        +1 from me

I got one that has my wifi details on it so mates can walk in, tap their phones and connect to my wifi.

use this app to set this up - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wifitap.an…

PS bought of this seller previously. Quick post to Melbourne. Good quality tags have had no issues.

        • Is it possible to do it without installing an app? (My understanding is, your mates need to install the wifitap app for this to work)

Or do we need an app for all the possible uses mentioned above?

          Thanks.

    • Take a look at Topaz tags. Same compatibility as NTAG203 with about 3 times the storage

      • And it is compatible with Note 3 as well
