Was looking to buy a front loading washing machine and found a couple under $500.00.
Good guys have this one from Bosch which is a 4star energy rating and is for $497.
The other one they have if a samsung one which is only 2.5 star energy rating:

Bosch one is quiet simple in it looks and Samsung looks a bit modern

imo ppl are more likely to write a bad review, so probably not so bad.. maybe.
This is a good deal regardless the weird description. 497 for bosch is good price considering 2 dollar delivery this is great deal.
Bosch is one of the best washing machine brand. I owe one and have no regret at all

The Samsung is a bit newer, but it's also discontinued like the Bosch.
I would say all the top brands(budget models) are pretty much the same(except the really expensive models) these days….
all could died within 5 years depend on luck & usage….
one of my Samsung Washer just died after 4 years(2 yrs warranty), and the previous Bosch didn't last long too!
This Bosch model is made in Thailand. It is nowhere near the quality of the more expensive models made in Germany

The Bosch is a better value deal, no better price around. The samsung can be found at that price elsewhere.

I didn't want the Samsung posted earlier, and this Bosch is one of the washer on my list
I don't think he is representing "The Good Guys Group" or their marketing department by advertising a particular model of a washing machine here(and under $500)
you could say this is not a deal, but then don't just say it's advertisement….when people are sharing a deal!

I believe most bargains would happen when someone was looking into a specific product.
It's like real estate, the best person to ask advice on an area/prices is someone who's been looking to buy in that area for a few months, they've done the legwork and the hard yards researching values, that they learn to spot a bargain pretty quickly.. but someone not looking buying such a thing probably wouldn't see a bargain, and if someone spruiked such a bargain to them, they'd feel it tasted like advert.
I do feel that the real bargains make up less of a mix here these days, but then, this thread just saved me $27, and so I'm thankful for that (and I never really look in the forums so I would miss it there).
I guess, so long as it's the best price, I'm happy for the 'bargain' to get a mention, and I'm pretty good at ignoring deals that aren't relevant to me.
I would give out POSITIVE votes easily as people making their efforts sharing deals

I've had this Bosch machine for 2.5 years. Best machine I've ever had. Has some really useful and efficient short cycles. It uses hardly any water, but sometimes I manually top up with warm water through the soap dispenser to have a more watery wash. My wife only moved in with me to get access to this machine!

Stitchy, countdowndeals.com.au has the same model listed for $399.00 . Went to masters and they actually called this website to check if they had one in stock.. Once confirmed I bought that for $359.10 from masters..

good guys wouldn't pricematch because it was victoria (i'm qld). I did get them down to $408.. not bad considering I bought it from them before christmas.
