  • Might get one ;)

I bought one of these about 12 months ago. Going great.

  • Is there still a NSW rebate going on for these?

  • Paid $448 at Betta on Boxing day :/ could have saved $30 though the sales guy gave me an extended warranty.

    • Price match with masters is 10 percent off

      • -2

I assume every ozbargainer knows about Masters' price matching policy…

        • i was pointing out the fact that if he price matched with masters it'd be a lot more than just a $30 saving.

          ~420-(420x0.1)=$378

          448-378=$70

      • Not on appliances, they only price match (I presume they class a washing machine as an appliance).

        • Where did you get this information from. Says nothing about no appliances here:

I have seen it in store & I thought online as well. They may of changed their policy, will have a look next time I'm at my local… …though donga100 below seems to think the same thing (whitegoods/appliances).

EDIT: Only price matching appliances is mentioned in item number 2 on the 50 Reasons to Visit Masters page.

        • I retract my statement, hjk in the Dyson DC59 Animal deal shows that beating prices on appliances is back on (the Masters catalogue that arrived yesterday didn't mention anything about exceptions for appliances). Confusion reigns with even their staff & website, hopefully it becomes clearer in the future.

  • Washed one lot with this washing machine. Spin makes about half noise of my 4 year old Electrolux.

  • Very interested getting one from Masters, has anyone tried the price match with success?
Also, I am new to front loaders can someone explain to me why this washing machine take 1 hour to wash one load while my 20+ years old Simpson top loader only takes 35~40 mins?
Does this have dual (hot and cold) water inlets?

    • It has dual water inlets and it also has a quick wash function which only takes 29 minutes. The quick wash is what I normally use unless it is a particularly badly soiled load. I did the price beat with Masters last year for an extra 10% off which was no problem for them. I thought they only match prices now on whitegoods so YMMV.

      • This Samsung washer only have a cold water inlet. that's why it only got 2.5 energy rating.

        • My bad. It only has a cold water inlet but you can do warm water wash as it has ceramic heating elements built in. I never use the warm wash myself but the option is definitely available.

  • I've done price match and purchased from Appliancesonline, and I have purchased at $418, will be delivered and installed on 31 DEC.

  • Just price matched from Masters - ours just broke yesterday :)

Also they only charged me $359.10 and forgot to add on the delivery of $19 even though I'm in Vic!

    • any chance upload your invoice?

  • Got one from Masters today with a price beat. Final price I paid was $359.10. I price matched with the one on countdowndeals.com.au. I tried earlier from the good guys they won't even price match. Final price from them was $447.

  • Right I got it for $334 today….. Not quite the best ozbargain deal possible.
Masters price match + 5% gift card used…. Not happy they don't accept rewards card for qff points :(
Best you can do is buy 7-8 x $50 gift cards with ing card online (or does it need to be paywave?), then use them with masters price match deal. I hope it lasts as looks cheap and plastic compared to 30 year old general electric tank that has konked out…. hard rubbish take EM?

  • special finished back to $489.
