Was almost tempted to buy this Camera Kit in the previous deals and held my heartbeat. But couldn't stop buying it off Costco when I saw the Bag and 2 8GB Cards (worth more than $60) included with it. The Cashback wasn't displayed there, but the Store Rep said that the Cashback Display Card was being stolen a couple of times and they didn't have any more to display.

  I bought this today so positive from me. Store rep also confirmed that cashback available and you can claim it online. Same price as JB Hifi & Good Guys but with bag and cards plus superior return policy!

  18MM - 55MM LENS IS II??? JB comes with the new IS STM lens, which is much much better lens! definitely NO to me!!!

    This comes with the IS STM lens too. I'm no expert but the specs for the lenses look identical to the JB Hifi website. To clarify its a 18-55mm IS STM & 55-250mm IS II Twin Lens Kit.

      I confirmed that its the STM lens from the box. The display at Costco was wrong

    Yup, would be the STM lens for 18-55. That's the whole point of 650D/700D.

      Swapping lenses is very impractical and the quality of the 18-55 is not very good, it's worth under $100, you get what you pay for, I have never used the long one. Much better to get the cheapest body and one good lens with a bit of range like 18-100 or 200. If you want a camera around for normal photos of people, you will never use the long lens.

      The cards are worth about $30

  Can anybody confirm cashback? I only found $150 cashback for Canon own online sale when I checked Canon AU website.

    Store Rep confirmed it it me also, at the Canon website there are two buttons under the cashback for this camera, one says claim, you select this to claim cashback if you don't buy direct from Canon.

  Bought this camera from JB when they had 15% off did the cashback claim took about two weeks for it to go through. Great camera with the twin lens!
