    I've had one for 2-3 years now and they are pretty good…

    The only bad thing about them is the cost of new tapes… I stockpile when they are on sale.

    The iron-on tags work great and never peel off…

    Most of the complaints are about the paper labels (that come with the unit) not sticking well. You can buy better plastic labels which have far better adhesion. And jv's comment about the iron-on tags is spot on.

  I have this one and the old model, I prefer the old one but this one works ok. Whenever buying a label maker check how much label it wastes before and after the text, this one is ok but one we have at work can make the leading and trailing ends longer than the text and wastes a lot of label. I end up trimming some off with scissors it's so long.
