  • The Canon is able to got for this price at most places if you ask nicely - cannot believe how cheap it is to get into DSLR photography now!

    • Drop down massively on price

  • Is it good though?

If you are just upgrading from those small compact cameras and want to just try slr,
Then I think it's YES. (obviously on a tight budget, as otherwise you may want to consider the higher model 600D to 700D)

      • Agreed, I know a semi-professional photographer using this combo. Helps if you know how to use it. To improve quality, get a better lens before upgrading body.

Yamaha receiver supports HD sound and 4k passthrough. Good price, I think.

Yeah! I thought so too… until I found this from Boxing Day: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/128372

Funny how 'value' is perceived hey… I was OK to pay $247 for this but not now I know it has sold for $168 :( Now that was a bargain!

It's called "act of God", and not considered a normal happening. You should ignore it.
A bit like saying that you don't want to exchange money when you go on holiday because the Australian dollar used to be higher.
