    Bear in mind that this is the theatrical version. The extended edition is already out.

      The theatrical version is already 169 minutes long. I think it runs for quite long enough as it is.

    If you buy 2 movies from the 2 for $30 range its only $12 each which is what I did last week. Sure its not the extended version but its only missing 11min which would be pretty hard to spot in 3 hours

      Ever seen the difference between the theatrical LotR and extended versions? Extra footage does stand out and IMHO adds depth to all three films.

      Have you seen Fellowship of the Ring? That was 1/2 as exciting as this movie!!!!

      I like this movie actually. Bought this edition when I asked myself whether I really want to sit through another 30 minutes of an already very long Peter Jackson movie.

    Actually the 11 minutes extra is not as good as the one from LOTR. So it should be fine with this one.

    I bought this one last week, my number is 476. I believed it is the lowest number you can find now.
