I bought two Gabriel Gate 30cm Frypans for my relatives from Harris Scarfe. The non stick coating didn't last for a year.

    • Thanks, I just cancelled my order

      • No problem :)

So I use Anodised Cookwares now.

    • With a lot of cheap non-stick cookware, you are not mean to have the heat above the lowest setting really. Then it will last…. But is it worth it? You still have to be careful!

The pots in this set would be handy though, probably alright over all for someone who is moving out on their own.

  • Accidentally Kelly Street

  • I've bought Circulon frypans and they have been superb, better than Raco, and I can't destroy my 30cm circulon deep frypan

  • I've seen heaps of that 'gabriel gate' stuff dirt cheap at Victoria's Basement lately. Bought a covered stainless steel wok last week which was supposedly ~$150 for $30, a couple small pots the week before for $5 each. Can't speak for the non-stick qualities obviously but they don't seem like anything special.

  • I bought on of the frypans from Harris Scarfe. I have to say that I am impressed as I am no chef and the quality seems to be good.

    Great stuff

  • I've had a couple of the Raco Gabriel Gate frying pans from Harris Scarfe for about 3 years now. Apart from the slight dent I put in the rim of one of them dropping it they perform really well, kept their non stick and have not lost the coating.
For this sort of price I'll get a set for camping!

    • May I ask how often do you use the pan to cook?
